Hiii everybody!! 🙋‍♀️ Today it is International Kissing Day which u can read here about: https://nationaltoday.com/international-kissing-day/ 😬😬🙄 For that reason but also for other reason i wanted to make a forum about dates. 🫣🤐 Normally i ask if people want to answer the questions but please only do that if u like that or if u want to say something about dates. 🙏🙏😊🥰

1️⃣ If somebody asks u on a date and you say yes: how do u feel? Are you really nervous and do u feel insecure a LOTTTT or not really?

2️⃣ Are you always certain when it is a date nor not really? For example if somebody asks u to hang maybe or go to the city centre together or do something else and you dont really know that person do u think that is a date always?

3️⃣ Do u also dare to say no to a date and if yes how do u do that?

4️⃣ On a date do u bring a gift for that person and if yes what kind of gift?

5️⃣ Do u think that the guy must pay on date if for example u go to the cinema and the girl on the second date or differently?

1) If I'd willingly to to the date, I wouldn't be nervous. I only go on dates where I have a good feeling about because of knowing them already. I don't date "strangers".

2) No. I think a date should be clarified as a date. As long as it's not, I don't think it is. Otherwise people tend to have wrong expectations which can ruin the relationship between them on long term.

3) Yes, absolutely. Already have done it several times and I think it's important to be able to. I always stay respectful and thank the other one for being honest with me, because it requires a lot of courage to ask for a date.

4) Normally, I don't. If I do, something small. I think that the older I get, the more I tend to do so tho. Right now I'm in my flowers phase, so it could happen that I'd bring flowers.

5) I don't mind paying, it's traditional. What I mind tho is making a huge deal out of it and if the girl really INSISTS on the guy paying. I don't like that attitude. But if it's a chill vibe, I really don't mind to pay.

6) I'm a big fan of movie evenings or just going outside for a walk.

7) I get the thought, but no. If it's a date, I'm a big fan of keeping it private.

8) Yes, absolutely. But not on the first one. Depends on the vibe, but I tend to say that for me right now, I wouldn't do it in the first 5 dates. For things like kissing. Holdings hands or hugging is not that big of a gesture, so I'm fine with doing it earlier.

9) Both. I'm a huge fan of keeping a variety.

10) Be yourself. Trust your gut and be honest. Don't lie to yourself, don't make other ones hope when it's already over for you.

I think I'd be nervous and excited at the same time, maybe also a bit worried that it's a joke...

I don't have any guy friends in real life so I don't have that problem.

I would say no if I'm not interested in the person at all, because I don't want to waste someone's time or play with that person's feelings.

I guess I could bring a flower or something like that. Nothing too extravagant, just something that shows I'm making an effort for things to go well.

If a girl asks a guy on a date, she should pay (or at least split the bill) even if she's a girl because she's the one who asked. Personally, I'd feel bad if every date I went on was paid by the other person. I'm broke so I wouldn't mind, I'm just saying I'm not the only broke person in the world and it wouldn't be fair. How I see it is that the person who asked should be ready to cover the costs, no matter the gender or the amount of dates the two people have been on.

I've never been on a date so I don't know.

I don't know. I'd definitely tell someone where I'm going and who I'm with before going anywhere with someone, but it would be weird to go on a date with other people than the person you're going out with. Unless it's a double date or something like that.

I'm not very fond of physical touch so maybe just hold hands on the first date. And talking about feelings on the first date is kind of a red flag, especially if it's about mental health issues and trauma. It's important to know your partner's state of mind, but on a first date is often a first sign of future manipulation tactics.

I don't know, I think everything is nice as long as it has thought and effort put into it.

1. I reallyyyyyy have noooo idea 😖 I have only ever rejected dates since my parents are superrr stricttt and I don't wanna sneak behind their backkk 🥹

Somebody asked if in first week of vacation we can maybe do smt like the cinema or going to the centre. But i did not yet know what to say so now i just said like i have to check bc we still have next week at school. But he also asked an earlier time and i was not sure if it was a date but two other persons said yes bc if somebody asks u to go to the city and hang and u dont really know each other very well than it is a date even if he does not say it like that. But i dont know yet what i have to say now so im not sure. But if i go and if it is REALLLYY a date then i think i DIEEEE before i am there or feel like a zombie. 😬😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

No that is the problem bc if somebody asks to hang maybe somewhere or go to cinema or the centre or anything like that but u dont really know that person well are you sure it is a date??? Somebody here and also one of my BEST friends said yes of course. But i feel also unsure how u can know when it is or it is really NOTTT a date.

Sometimes when a person asked things like that i just say like that i cant go or there is something else so it is not difficult to say it like super direct because i cant do that or i feel like im really terrible.

No i think that u just share it. Like in my country u can send a tikkie on the phone so if for example u pay somewhere 14 then one pays and the other sends a tikkie for 7 so that way u share everything still. I think that is more normal and fair.

Tbh mostly in my school for example NOBODYYY says like ok do u want to go on a date? BUTTT instead they ask things like for example do u want to hang maybe after school and sometimes maybe it is more like friendly but if u ask friends they ALWAYYSS say NOOO IS A DATE!!!!! And then u can feel unsure bc u dont really know what he means. So for me that is super awkward bc OF COURSE u dont ask it because i think that would be super weird and cringe. So u just dont know but u still must say yes or no. And if i feel not comfortable or unsure then i just almost always say that i cant make it and there is something else i must do and is important and say sorry about that. But now this time i am not sure.
