I have a Peavy T 60.. and some log of a bass made in the USSR back in the 80s...

I have a Radio Shack bass too.. Realistic Brand ...early 70s I think .. when I graduated High School, my uncle gave me his Gibson Les Paul. One of the first made....hahah played that for years and took to with me when I lived in NYC .. sold it when my daughter was born to get outta debt 🙁

It really wasn't suited for punk, hardcore or Oi! Music ....unless you play like Johnny Thunders. The band I was in when I lived in NYC .. when I started it, I was going to play guitar and sing. But I found that Al, our bass player was fucking awesome on guitar.... and I sucked at singing and playing at the time. So we.switched and he borrowed the Gibson. He got into smack and I had to take the guitar from him and give it back when we had rehearsals and shows ...lol good times.. saved it from being like Chinese rock.

Awww.. bane of my existence.. tweakers .. Al wasn't so bad ...he functioned and he later got clean years later. He would not show up to rehearsals and he was a squatter so sometimes we had to search for him. By then .. we had another dude singing and playing guitar. So we could cover if he didn't show up to shows.

Most of the crust punk/squatter scene used some kind of substance.. wasn't into that but that was part of our audience ...
