Cloud Candy
You look up at the sky so blue,
A cloud is smiling down at you.
Like cotton candy, soft and bright,
It wanders through the morning light.
The wind will guide its gentle way,
And change its shape for a brand new day.

Atmospheric May Day
When the birch shows its first tiny leaves,
and the sun melts away what winter leaves.
Then it's time to raise a glass and cheer,
for May Day, spring's bright gift, is here.
Today I spotted a toad in the middle of the road during my afternoon walkies 🐸
The Frog’s Leap
A frog jumped from a mossy mound,
Surveyed the world all around.
With a loud "Croak, croak!" it began to sing,
Waiting for what the rain might bring.
Little Green Friend
On a mossy mound sits a fellow in green,
The happiest hopper that you’ve ever seen.
No worries to carry, no burdens to keep,
Into the pond with a graceful leap. On a lily pad sailing, so calm and so free,
He sings out a song for you and for me.
A gentle reminder for all to behold:
There’s a place for us all, both the shy and the bold.
Joy in the Rain
When the clouds turn to grey and the rain starts to fall,
The frog is the happiest creature of all.
He doesn’t feel gloomy, he doesn’t feel blue,
He’s splashing in puddles like children do! He’s happy to be just the way he was made,
Safe in the mud and the cool garden shade.
If only we’d cherish the moments we gain,
And find the same magic in dancing in rain.
