Of course it's a real job... Someone said something different? The parents trust you to look after their kids, it means you're good at it!

I worked as an employee for an insurance company and I loved it 😍

Thnxxx for saying that bc ppl sometimes DOOO say that bc u only do that for like 2 hrs or when they need it. And it is not very heavy like other jobs but i think that does not matter bc u still have to help out and if u take care for a baby it is also really important. And u get for each hr also a salary and even if it is not reall much i think that does not matter.

Did u like ur job @Chantal-?? 🙄🙄

I never had a job but I am a Volunteer Tutor Globally. I reached 26+ Countries.

As I already said, it's good for the parents because they can trust you with their child and that's priceless. You are 14 so it's ok to work just for a few hours and then you have money for bubble tea!

A win is a win!

I loved that job 🥹 I left it because I moved to Turin

My first job was as a trainee butcher in a meat processing factory. There were no windows and it had to be kept cold, near zero degrees every day. It was not pleasant, but I found a friend who got me into playing a guitar and helped me improve so that I could join a band. I learned many swear words and genuine people as well as unfriendly ones. It taught me an important life lesson, and I was determined to find an office job and do something that made me think, use my brain and do better for myself. You don’t know much about the world until you go out and work. Every experience teaches you something about life which can be useful later, so I don’t look back on it as a waste of time, but an important stepping stone. Later when I had difficult times in other jobs I always had that first job and those awful working conditions to look back on, and think myself lucky.

I would let EVERY animal escape from that factory or i could not breathe and feel like I am also like them. I know that is not allowed and it cant happen but i would NOTTT be able to do that. But i know that u look in super positive way bc u learn from every job. So i think u didnt do anything bad but i could just not do that EVERRR unless i can let them all escape!!! 🙂

Thnxx very much @Chantal- but im almost 15!!! 😛 😛 But my bday is in the vacation so im really happy to celebrate that way!!! 😃 ANDDDDD when u come to Amsterdam i know BEST bubble tea shop and i buy one for you and also @Dracula. 🧋❤️

Thankkk uuu my dearrrr frienndddd🫠🥰

I told @Dracula that I also saw a vegan bar I'd like to try. We just need matching onesies 😍 @Yue_ maybe hello kitty? 🥹🥹

I know that everybody will say it is NOTTT a real job but i babysit already for more than a year. And i acrtually think it is a job even if it is only few hrs per week bc i think u must really know what to do and have to give all the care that u can do. And in my country u get paid for it not a lot but still u can save from it so it is like salary but only a little bit not like when u work in a shop or smt like that. In my family my parents say it is really important to do it bc u know more what money means and also that u must work urself to get it and save it. So I will continue it until they dont need me anymore and i can maybe have a different side job later so u always also work.

Sorry if I upset you talking about my first job, I hope you didn’t have nightmares. It really wasn’t as you imagined, like a horror film with animals being killed or blood or anything like that. It was a place where meat was processed, and burgers were made also. The animals had already been humanely killed and the meat cleaned. I know people don’t eat so much meat as they did 45 years ago, and perhaps some young people who eat burgers don’t really think about how they are made. Anyway, sorry again, the world has changed a bit, although there are actually more wars and conflicts happening now than when I was young. It’s good to know about the past so that you can try and change the future, but some world leaders are not learning lessons from the past and I find that very sad.

Owww that is ok and sorry i maybe misunderstood bc i thought it was the butcher place and that would be a scaryy but instead u worked at the place where the made the food products from it. That would still not be what i would want to do but i understand now what u mean ANDDDD i also agree abt what u said abt wars and that world leaders make that BIGGG mistake. Bc it is now everywhere.

Abt eating less meat i think that is actually good. If u eat too much u can get cancer or other disease. And i think still a lot of ppl eat maybe more than is healthy. I dont eat red meats myself but i do eat fish and chicken dishes. I hope u have a nice day!!! 🌈🌞🌈

Thanks, you too 👍

My first job was at a gasstation that also doubled as a package shop. It was very small and cozy and you knew all your colleagues very well which was nice. I think I started in the busiest period right before black friday and christmas so we were getting buried in packages and had a line out the door all the time which was though😅 But I still stayed for a year before quitting because I was getting too stress by not having fixed shifts.

My first job was at a museum. Restoring old books etc.

Hi everyone, I'm Nik from ITALYYY

Soooo... my first job was related to a school internship, but after a few months I was officially hired by that company. I was 17. Btw, what was it about?

Legally, I was a naval technician at a yacht company, WIDER, so I was supposed to be in the office, but I was too curious to learn about the shipyard, so I basically spent all my time with the operators, helping with assembly and learning a lot by doing "hard" work (like painting an entire anchor chain, LOL). My duties included overseeing some projects and organizing some production processes, like how things are assembled in the engine room, etc. I really enjoyed that job and learned a lot about the world of sailing and boats. I still work in that industry now, but for another company, SILENT Yachts.

How did I get that job? Oh yeah... a bit of luck and a lot of hard work at school. Basically, my school was a naval school, so a nautical high school, and that company was looking for the best in the class. Luckily, I was one of the two, and... yeah, I get it...

I've been working in that field for about two years now, and I still love it. The salaries are REALLY good, and it's hard to find work there because you have to be very well-prepared and learn something new every day. When I become an engineer, I hope to find a more important job, perhaps in the automotive industry. We'll see.

If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to write! I'll get back to you as soon as possible

thx to @lucasar92 , that's a really nice topic to talking about!

Enjoy ur life friends!!!

Azienda marchigiana ?

Azienda marchigiana ?

in realtà no, però le sedi in cui ho lavorato sono entrambe nelle marche, zona Fano (sotto Pesaro, sopra Senigallia geograficamente parlando)

I'm surprised to read all this. Beside my family's farm, I've never had a real job. Though I am thinking about maybe taking a job in the nearest supermarket (probably in Lauzerte) to see if I enjoy such work. If I do, I might be wanting to start a bio (biological) shop somewhere, where I sell the products of my family's farm.
