Helloooo everybody! 😊😇 Last week when i chatted with @rambob he had a super good idea and i promised him to make a MEGA forum abt World Cuisines and yummmii dishes from the WHOLE WORLD!!! 😛 😛 I actually wanted to make the forum this weekend BUTTTT today is National Spanish Paella Day sooo it is FATEEE and i MUST make it today!!! 🙂

In this forum u can write ANYTHING abt world cuisines and world dishes or just food u like!! For example sharing tips, recipes or photos or questions or ANYTHING!!! And i also have some questions but u can just write what u like of course!!! 😃

💚🤍❤️ TIP about Italian food 💚🤍❤️

My first tip is actually NOTTT abt Chinese food or Dutch food but abt Italian food!!!! 😛 I think that i already told it before to @Pennarossa2024, @Simone724 and @Chantal- but I went to Rome with my parents and my uncle and aunt we made a mistake bc we thought that if u eat pasta that is the main dish. BUTTTT in the restaurant they think it is just a dish BEFORE the main dish!!! We made that mistake and they asked what we have for the main dish after the pasta and we were like 😳😳😳 and my mom and my aunt they said in Chinese so they didnt understand it that they are crazy to eat another main dish and also dessert. But my dad and my uncle actually liked it a lot!!! So if u go to an Italian restaurant u have to be careful abt that!!

It is called pollo coi peperoni and in the interview u can find the recipe that he wrote!! 🙂 I will later also share from other interviews of course!!!

1️⃣ What is your favourite world cuisine and why? What is ur favourite dish from that cuisine?

I would say French because of the pastries, but French cuisine has escargot and other things I would never want to see in a plate, let alone put in my mouth. And there's a lot of asian dishes that look yummy but it's kind of the same thing as French cuisine, I wouldn't want to eat squid, crawfish, mollusks or things like that. I guess my favourite world cuisine is the cooking of a mother, they're all over the world and they always make good food.

2️⃣ What tips can u share abt the cuisine from YOUR country (like tips for nice dishes or what u have to be careful of or maybe things that are super important customs if u eat in a restaurant)?

I don't cook a lot so I don't have any tips to give...

3️⃣ What is the best dish u ever ate and where was it?

I ate a chocolate cake at a restaurant named 'Au Vieux Duluth' once, and it was amazing. I think it was in Saguenay, but I'm not sure.

5️⃣ What dish can YOU make the best?

CO2, the plants really love it haha

More seriously, I can cook pretty decent cakes (and I can decorate them too, but I'm definitely not an expert).

6️⃣ What did u normally eat for lunch at school or maybe work or at home?

I don't always eat the same thing, but it's usually simple dishes like pasta, chicken croquettes with rice, chilli, etc.

7️⃣ Are there things that u DONT like or do u have allergies?

I'm not allergic to food, but I don't like cooked mushrooms or cooked vegetables in general. The taste doesn't change much but the texture becomes awful, I hate it. I'm also not a big fan of olives.

8️⃣ What is ur favourite snack and what snacks do other ppl in your country normally eat?

I prefer eating sweet things even if they're not really considered snacks, so I guess my favourite ACTUAL snack would be chips... I like Doritos and Tostitos the best. And I don't really know about the people in my country, it's not the kind of thing I know about people.

9️⃣ What is your favourite dessert?

Cakes or cupcakes, of course! But all desserts are great, and I'll adore them no matter what they are if they've got icing or creamy fillings like for example chocolate éclairs, Boston cream doughnuts, cream puffs, Mille-feuille, etc.

Lava cakes are insanely good, but I also like the ones with icing... my favourite cakes with icing are Oreo cakes and red velvet cakes.

I like watching the decorating part the most, it's much more satisfying to me than cooking... and it makes the dish look 100000% more tasty!

1. Finnish obiosly. The smoked lax or grav lax, rye bread and pea soup.

2. I dont think we have any. But in a reataurant in Finland its importnat to be quiet cause people come there to enjoy meals not listen to your conversations. And be extreamly polite and dont bother the servers.

3. Pieces of moose meat. Cooked in pepper, salt and butter. My father makes them. Or the medaljonki fish that my father also makes.

5. Salmon soup and sämpylä (some type of bread rolls but not)

6. Whatever the school provides. Except the vegan stuff thats horrible but even them i eat näkkileipä a crispbread

7. Im allergic to mango and bananas. Not that i would ever eat them i hate bananas and mangos are way too expensive. But also all the vegan stuff i have eaten.

8. Fazer chocklate is the best according to everyone. But its way too expensive. So the most popular things are whatever is the cheapest. So Pirkka and knockoffs. Cause they desided to make snacks wayy too expencive and then theres this other stuff that makes it too expensive.

9. Laskiaispulla. Its this sweat eaten on one specific holiday once a year. Laskiainen.

10. Not the foreing versions. The subtitles are the only thing i would consentrate on and miss the cooking. But i like the show Koko Suomi leipoo its a baking show. Or the things that occasionally come up in this gardening show from sweden.

1. Indian!!!! Because of the spiceeee 😋✨. I can't live without spicessss 😭😭 and then I like a few simple soups, but veg.
2. There is no super important custom to eat in restaurants, but if we talk about cooking, then you should never over boil potatoes 🥹✨
3. I don't knowww, because I like everything I cook, well mostly, I rarely ever mess up when I cook 😭😭 but I once made butterscotch sponge cake and it was sooooooo tastyyyyyyyy!
5. Indian, of course. But I can also make a few Chinese ones with Indian touch (we call it ✨Desi-Chinese✨).
6. Chapati with curry, that's basic Indian food in Northern side, I believe.
7. I don't think I have allergies but I don't like almost all green vegetable 💔🥀
8. My favorite snack is called "Cheela" that my mom makes, but with a difference. And I don't know what people usually have as snack, it's diferent for everywhereeee 🥹✨

Wowwww thank u very much everybody!!!! When i watched from the photos of Kerttu @Torakka that is really cool and i think for me i would like the salmon dishes the MOSTTT!!!! Really thank u Kerttu that u made so much effort that u also added the photos and now Nidhii @Nishu will know what she will eat when she comes to you!!! And if i visit i bring mangos bc in my country they are in the supermarket super often in bonus so u get nice discounts!!!!!

@Miss_Penpal for lunch i like the simple dishes that u say a LOTTTT more than what ppl eat in my school and i think everywhere in my country bc ppl normally only eat BREAD they bring from home or if they want to be super luxury then they can order a tosti (so that is a bread in the toaster with cheese and ham). Ppl sometimes think im weird bc i dont really like bread at all and i normally bring from home in a warm container things what we ate the evening before for dinner. And we cook more so i can bring it to school for lunch and it is much nicer than bread i think and a lot healthier too!!!! 🙂 And i like what u wrote with CO2 joke!!!!! 😛 😛

1. Italian Cuisine ist the bessttt🫶

2. Austrian Cuisine 🇦🇹 we have a lot of potatos/pastries/meat and typical dishes are Schnitzel,

Tafelspitz, Kaiserschmarrn, Apfelstrudl, Zwetschgenknödl or Fleischkassemmel.

When ur in an austrian restaurant you just have to be polite and you shouldn’t chew loudly ( we call loud chewing „schmatzen“ and its usually a sound „pigs make when eating“ in our tradition)

When smth is 18€ we often round it up to 20€ and say „basst so?“

Don’t rest your elbows on the table its very rude.

3. Mannnn idk but I rememeber a really good XXL pizza i ate in Greece

4. My family loves when I make cinnamon cookies

in austrian : Zimtsterne

5. We eat eintopf ( like a soup with everything in it ) nearly every day

6. I don’t have allergies but I hate garlic, salty food, soy sauce, sweet sour food like at chinese restaurant, fatty food like pommes

7. Apfelringe, its just dried apple. Other ppl eat Leberkassemmel to and Laugenstangerl. I do too.
