I'm mainly addressing adults here; do you think dark romances are a good thing for young people my age??

I have many friends who read it, and I know roughly what it's about, and I think it's quite bad for young audiences.☹️☹️

I'm not saying that these kinds of books are horrible; books are never horrible, they just teach us different points of view. But this particular genre greatly influences my friends, and I'm worried about it.💔

I mean, generally, the guy in these kinds of books r@p€s the main character, @bus€s her, is jealous and super protective, even though the main character is madly in love with him, and all my friends are like "Omg, I want a love story like that so badly! Did you see how jealous he is? It's so cute!"

In short, I wanted your opinion, because I think it's going too far...

I think many young people like dark romance because it feels intense and emotionally deep, often exploring forbidden or dramatic relationships. I can't really tell if it's dangerous in real life but of course there is a risk because it often romanticizes unhealthy behaviors like control or manipulation, which can distort real ideas of love and respect... Therefore I think it's important that especially young people know that such a kind of relationship in real life is extremely unhealthy and everything but normal

you on true way girl dark romance is a fever dream ı hate toxic mans tbh

I dont really read dark romances at all tbh and i dont even know which titles are maybe ok to read. BUTTTT if i read books than sometimes it feels TOO real like you are really feeling like the main character. And then i think maybe dark romance books are not really good or they can perhaps be too real if you think too much abt that.

In my class actually most dont read at all at least not for fun. But i do and also some of my friends but they dont really read dark romance books at all i think. But i can ask and if they mention titles then i can also post it here.

Some books are like loaded guns, but it's not the book but our minds wheter to touch the trigger or not.
