every time we go to a concert of Aira da Pedra there are a lot of people and they even dance with the music (they understand how beautyfull folk music is 😃🙂) but when i talk about it on the internet, some people don't even know what folk music is, they simply never heared of it. How does this work out?

Because at a folk music concert of course there are people who like folk music..In the internet you just meet more random groups of people, and if I might say so, I believe it is quite rare to find someone who enjoys folk music nowadays. Not that it‘s bad, just rather unique.
yes, you might be quit right @Emmiiii_17_11 and if i may say so, its quit a shame and folk music is not such a well known music style. Why is metal, where, if i may be very honest, people cant sing, such a famous music style? why is kpop such a famous music style? (same opinion as metal) and so on. I wish people knew more about the beauty of folk music......

I don‘t know..I guess it‘s just a matter of exposure and trend cycles. Metal and K-Pop both have strong communities and aesthetics that attract fans, and they‘re heavily promoted in media. Folk music, on the other hand, doesn‘t get the same kind of ’push’, if you understand what I mean..So maybe nowadays it isn‘t as popular.
