Do you think you were born in the wrong age? why or why not?
Im born in 2007 and i don't think its a wrong age. Though maybe i would have preferd to be born in 2005/2006.
Yes, I exactly think this way and there is much more besides since I often feel like a phantom who haunts ivory towers of this age and ostracized in a way. Why? There are several reasons but principally and unapologetically I can say that I'm driven by virtues and not ego. A free spirit is just an old soul with all its karma paid. There is no shackles of modernism around my mind. Thus I'm no one but a free and old soul dressed by relatively younger body.
I think two of my former colleagues would fit well in prehistoric times. The excessive resonance levels in their vocalistic presence and some behavioral traits would have been a perfect match with giant lizard brutality.
Lawyers tend to talk overly difficult as if Shakespeare was a mere joy for the cheering masses. I hope to have avoided this virus (if not, I will seek transport back in time to ask forgiveness to one of England’s greatest minds).
I was born in '97, which means I got to experience that magic window where we were the last kids to:
Actually play outside until the streetlights came on. Trade Pokémon cards like Wall Street brokers on the playground ("Charizard for your Blastoise? Throw in a holographic Pikachu and we got a deal") Hoarded Diddle sheets like they were contraband. Remember those leaves that smelled? So cool!
Our TV lineup was crazy: Spongebob marathons, Sailor Moon making us believe in cosmic destiny, and Drake & Josh teaching us that step-siblings could be chaotic BFFs. We survived dial-up internet and still remember the sacred ritual of blowing into Nintendo cartridges.
And here's the kicker, we remember life before social media, but adapted to tech so fast we might as well be cyborgs. One minute we're playing Snake on a Nokia brick, next minute we're editing TikTok transitions.
Would I trade our sticker albums, Tamagotchi panic, and the original viral trends (anyone else do the "Soulja Boy" at school dances?) for growing up with iPads? Not a chance.
You are right: i'd love if those times came back.
Sometimes yes
am i misunderstanding the question?
