I'm proud of my desire to grow. It's difficult, because it puts a lot of pressure on me when I don't do well or when I don't understand something, but I think it's important to work towards becoming a better person. Wether it be intellectually or simply as a person, I believe there is always room for improvement and I hope I can become someone that doesn't come off as flawed on top of my excessive shyness.
For me i am most proud i could take care of my grandmom when we visited her in the summer in Nanjing. Bc normally she always takes care of us or she gives nice tips or talks to us. But now she has dementia more and more. So it is super difficult to talk with her and to take care of her but i tried my best with it and i liked that now i can do that too for her. 🥰🥰🥰 ❤️❤️

Happened to my grandma. She died at age 99. I could always talk to her, but the last decade of her life she got dementia too. Pretty hard to see how someone so strong completely forgot who I was. Just being there is the only thing you can do. Even if everyone is a stranger to her, she will recognize goodness I think.
Thank you very much @Muffles what you said. I think taking care of super simple things like making tea and for example helping she does not get burned if she drinks it. Of course you can give water but tea is her favourite drink. So small things you can help with and that is important too i think. But she lives in Nanjing so we cant go every year bc it is super expensive but everytime we go now i want to do that.

Its the little things. I discovered that they really matter. Even for myself, I feel the most happy when I just sit somewhere at a cafe and drink coffee and watch people while I write (I am a writer). That counts for most people I think, getting some attention, drinking tea or coffee, just not feeling alone. When I was in China we went to a square in the evening because it was hot. It was filled with elderly, but also younger people and they danced. They did it for a sense if connection I think, a sense of belonging. So it is good you went there and grandparents usually love their grandchildren to bits, so just being there is probably already enough.

Being shy is not a flaw. I am like that too and I am 55. You just need to treat is as something part of you. It's important to like yourself. If you do, you'll grow too.

I'm aware of that, but since I'm very very shy I don't really take the first step to interact with others in real life. So I find it important to at least leave a good impression when someone makes the effort to go towards me first.
I am proud that if I was religious I wouldn't force my religion on other people
We believe the same in my religion. And even that WE can be wrong in the first place so it is not that we believe in Buddhism that we can only be right. But the Buddha said that even he can be wrong. So how can you force your religion on the other people if nobody can be fully sure if you are right. I think you have to respect everything and everyone what they want and believe so i agree what you said. 🙂

I think you already do a super good job!! And do you already know if you go to the normal school next year in stead of homeschool? Bc you said it depends on the place right? I hope that you have a place (I mean the school that you like not the other one)!!!!!!!
