I think making friends takes time! If you give it that said time, you will find your people!
Hii Aresenia @Kotyaka2023!! 🤗🤗 I cant write a lot now bc our break is almost over but i think it depends on what everybody wants on PPG and that can be super different. Some only like the forum, the most i guess like sending messages with other persons here, some writing real letters and some maybe different things. I think as long as there are nice things for you too, it is a good reason to stay. I dont know if all wishes come true (and maybe yes but only later), but it can be a nice way to have at least also online friends or others to talk about nice things. And you can always decide if you want to be here online A LOTTT or only a little bit. Sorry i cant write more now but i can try to do that later!! 🌸🌼🌻 for you!!! 🙋♀️

I think that Stitchyyy @elizabethtay836 is right and that you have to be super patient if you want a BEST friend. BUTTTT in the meantime you can have several also GOOD friends here and as long as you like it or anything else on PPG that is already positive!! 🙂 So maybe it is best not have super high expectations but instead look how it is here and if it is good to you or not. And if it is good than i think that is nice!! So you are not disappointed and look at the positive things that it can give to you.

Honestly I prefer being friends with people online. It's easier to write than to speak, I think. And it would be weird if I just talked with a notepad in real life, my friend count would probably go in the negative haha
And what are you talking about? If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I have no friends in real life. That's one of the main reasons I'm on penpal sites, actually. Because I have no friends and I'm too shy to make some. My only friends are online, so if they all leave then what am I supposed to do? I'll be way too lonely ):
I think you should stay, but that's just my selfish opinion. If you don't enjoy being on Penpal Gate anymore you should go, it's not worth it to be uncomfortable for people you've never even met. But I hope you'll choose to stay.
I understand what @Roseeeee said but also what @Oxiu and @Miss_Penpal say. It is best to have friends in normal life that is important if that is possible, but sometimes that is difficult too. 🙄🙄
For me i really ❤️❤️ my friends from school but also online!! 😛 😛 Most of my friends from normal life are from school or ballet (and one of my best friends is from BOTHH). But we are a lot the same with things we like and talk about. But online my friends are super different like for example age and where they are from and what they like. So if for example we do something fun and go talk about funny things and drink smt i am with my friends. But if i talk about some things that i think are difficult to talk about or just to talk about other nice things i sometimes really prefer online bc my online friends are different. And i really just like that too. 🤗🥰🥰
And for @Kotyaka2023 and @Miss_Penpal: i hope that you know that IFFF you want to have friends in normal life that you are MUCH nicer and cooler than you maybe think. If you would be in MY school for example i would hope you are immediately in my friends group and I am super sure others also think that way. Maybe you would not like that but that is just what i would think. 🙂

Yes but trying trying and trying is the best thing. Seeing that so many teenagers here don’t have friends in real life breaks my heart. These years won’t come back. So guys advice for everyone: of course have your online friends but also find people in real life. Seriously. It’s very important.
Trying to be less shy is always good. Therapy is really helping me with this problem. Otherwise you will have to fight this problem when yall will be adults. I know it’s REALLY hard but it’s also important if you don’t wanna be left out from the real world.
I don’t have many friends in real life too but i do have some and when i think about the experiences i did with them i think “damnn i could never do this with my online friends” and i think that my real life friends are more worth it. If you guys try this you will realize it too,trust me. Take your time,take care of yourself,and try to beat your shyness cause you are better than this and the world is waiting for you!
I also want to meet all of my online friends one day,i will make it happen cause I don’t like online friendships if we don’t plan to meet one day.

I agree 1000000% with what @Roseeeee said!!! Sorry i cant type a lot now bc we have visitors BUTTT maybe a nice tip to do what Roseee said is AT SCHOOL. So even if there are a lot of ppl you are NOT close with or others that you dont like at all then still there MUST be also some that you DO like. I have a very nice friends group at school and I know that maybe other people think that we talk about stupid things or stuff that is not important. But for me they are my friends and they ARE important. And bc it is at school i see them often and it is one of the reasons that i DO like school. Even if that is super nerdyyy, but they help with that.
And if you are homeschooled what some said here: maybe you can choose to go to school also bc you are with others. Or maybe you can do other things where you can meet friends like sports or music or fangroups. And if you meet every week you will see them a lot and get to know them better.

Making friends in real is so hard. I don't know anyone here because I am new. But in my opinion you should not leave...all I have seen here looks real nice. I think its good to be here.
