This letter is from @Esma-Nur and @Yue_ for @Mayuuram and @Fleurke

There are 7 colours in a rainbow. These are: Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red.

We are now missing two and we dont know really what to do.

We want to give whatever can bring you both back.

Because we miss you both. And we hope that maybe you feel the same way.

Mayuuram said to us that you must think about the people who love you.

We want to say to her: we are here!!!!! And we โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ you!!! We hope that is enough to convince you.

Because we look up to you (we really mean that!) and learn a lot and care about you.

And Fleurke you are still here and chat with us alone.

We are very thankfull for that!!! But we want you to be with all of us too.

We love you and we will ALWAYS do!!!!!!! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ

Please come back both to PPG and on the forum!! We are your friends and we miss you!!

Everyone is welcome here! Religion and individuals are 2 different things, as they should be. It's up to each one of us to acknowledge this ๐ŸŒ

Religion and individuals are two different things. However, religion is part of the lives of many individuals. I continue to believe that Fleurke did not want to proselytize. In more than three months, she has never spoken to me about her religion. If Fleurke leaves, this forum will lose an important voice. I think that adults are also needed here. Their presence enriches the forum. Perhaps Etienne made a wrong assessment? We can all make mistakes. It is not easy to manage a site with more than two hundred thousand members. It is right to try to save this site from danger. However, in this case, I do not see any danger. Clearly, I am nobody. Today I am here, tomorrow I do not know. The site is Etienne's. He decides. Peace and good to all. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Thank you @Etienne and @Pennarossa2024 for the comments. I dont really know exactly what to say. But i dont want to be silent too like nobody cares about it. Because i know that others are talking about it too and that it is important for them.

I have a lot of friends at school who are also muslim and if they speak sometimes they say a word that comes from the religion but my friend said that is because it is their way to talk and not because they mean a religious thing always. I hope that i say it correctly.

In any case i think everybody agrees that everybody is welcome and that all religions are ok and welcome! So @mayuuram and @Fleurke and any other person is super welcome!! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐ŸŽ—๏ธ That is very important!! So maybe the discussion is now about if you can speak a religious word in a forum post. But for example a forum topic about religion is always allowed (so for example if you want to explain something or if you are proud of it or if somebody has questions). So islam and christianity and buddhism and all religions are super welcome but it is for religion forums? I am asking it because i am not exactly sure and maybe it is important to first understand what the rules are.

Sorry if i make mistakes in the above and if i did not understand something correctly but i am writing this in my lunch break at school so i dont have a lot of time to check it for mistakes. Thank you everybody and sorry that i type a lot but i know that this is very important for several members. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

PS: 200 thousand members?? ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ I do not check it often but that is a lotttt!!!!!! Merci beaucoup @Etienne!!!!! ๐Ÿคตโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒž

PS2: @Pennarossa2024 stay here always too ok!!!!!! I would be really super sad if you go!!! โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’š

PS3: @mayuuram and @Fleurke please come back!!!! ๐ŸŒธโœจโœจ

PS4: I hope that everybody who talks here or privately about it talks in a nice way because it is a difficult topic and it would be super nice if everybody feels good too. I hope that is possible.

Have a nice day everybody!! ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—

I'm not sure what to say, this definitely feels like things have blown out of proportion. I never meant to attack anyone, just pointed out that anything pertaining to a religious connotation should be kept out of the public space. If that was not the initial intention, which I suppose it wasn't, then shouldn't everyone be all good? Except if someone decides we're not.

Maybe this will give some perspective: there have been dozens of people promptly banned over the years for sharing religious content, of virtually all religions. Here, no one was banned, or even got close to being banned. ๐Ÿค”๏ธ It is difficult to make sure there is harmony in a forum where everyone has vastly different backgrounds. Maybe that's why other penpal platforms decided not to have a forum, I don't know. I've learned that religion is a frequent starter for conflict, hence the strictness of the rule (yes, I know it is strict, this is why). I hope the context brings some sense, this negative outcome makes me a little sad. Have a good day.

Dear Etienne ๐Ÿคต (I like that gentleman with the jacket and papillon) we are all serious people. We are your guests, serious and calm guests. We are here to talk, we are not here to convert anyone. It is normal to have different ideas, even different from yours. I don't know if in all these years you have ever received expressions of dissent. I don't know how you resolved these situations. This story must teach each of us something. I think we can live together peacefully in this house, your house. With mutual respect despite the diversity of assessments that we can make on what happened.๐Ÿ™‹

We like the PPG family a lot!! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ For me it is really important. And before anybody thinks differently: i also have friends in normal life! ๐Ÿ˜› I am very thankfull for @Etienne that we can use PPG and i hope everybody helps to make it nice and even better in the future!! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿฅ‡ With this forum topic we only wanted to show @Mayuuram and @Fleurke that we love them. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ And we love @Etienne for everything too!! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™ And we love @Pennarossa2024!! ๐Ÿ’šโค๏ธ And we love PPG!! ๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ˜ป

Dear @Etienne , King of PPG ๐Ÿคด๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘‘

(Before i start it, i wanna say thankyou for @Yue @Esma-Nur @Pennarossa2024 @Sarahsalah27 and others member who message me in WhatsApp and encouraging, convince and always giving me space to speak, and comeback.

i'm truly grateful to have you guys on my back, and i'm sorry for deactivated without telling, cause seeing this accusing really hurt me. but i'm stronger now because of you guys, thankyou once again.)

and, this letter i made specially for @Etienne , our King of PPG

I hope this letter finds you well. I would like to take this opportunity to address a matter that has recently come to light within the PPG community, involving your concerns about Auntie Fleurke and her sharing of Arabic quotes.

okay, human rights are fundamental to fostering mutual respect and understanding among people of diverse backgrounds. These rights include freedom of thought, belief, and expression, which are vital in ensuring harmony in a multicultural environment like PPG. It is important to acknowledge that while discussions around religion and culture can be sensitive, they should always be approached with care, accuracy, and an open heart.

Your assumption that Auntie Fleurke was spreading verses from the Holy Quran as part of proselytism appears to have been a misunderstanding. The quotes shared were Arabic expressions, not religious scripture, and this distinction matters. You can see the answer below to provide you right answer. (from the beginning i knew it's only quotes, but i upload it to proof it's only misunderstanding)

Misinterpretations can occur, but they should not become a platform for projecting personal trauma or fears onto others. While it is understandable that past experiences may shape your perspectives, it is crucial to remember that individuals, including Muslims, cannot be judged based on the actions of a few. What im trying to say is, what you see from outside, like the war, fight etc, it has nothing to do with ppg member and it's not their fault.

I believe, the PPG community is built on principles of inclusivity and harmony, where people from different walks of life can coexist respectfully. As you know, this forum is not a space for religious contention but rather a platform for mutual support and shared growth. Allowing personal biases or fears to influence our interactions risks undermining the very essence of PPGโ€™s mission.

In light of this, I kindly encourage you to reflect on how this misunderstanding might have affected Auntie Fleurke, who was wrongly accused of proselytizing. There are so many people who like Arabic quotes because some of them see the beauty of each Arabic letter that exists. And this has nothing to do with a particular religion, because In Arabia itself there are not only Muslims, but also Christians, jews and other religion.

accusations without clear evidence can harm relationships and the trust that binds our community. It is only fair to offer her an apology for the unintended distress caused by this situation.

By doing so, we not only honor the principles of human rights but also demonstrate the strength and unity of our community. Together, let us continue to foster an environment where respect, understanding, and compassion guide our interactions.

and what i replied to auntie fleurke had no bad intentions at all, let alone proselytism as you accused, because we all really respect auntie and consider her as a second mother. and i know she love arabian quote and that's why i answer with Arabic words also, and it It has nothing to do with any particular religion.

You can check here.

Actually it as simple as like when you see a french, you trying to use some france words to show that you platonically really into that person. And also thanks to pennarossa who can see we only trying to have fun, without any bad intention to harm, to convert, to proselyte.

and that's what I want to say, if my existence disturbing the harmony here, I choose to know my place and leave for the sake of everyone.

Warm regards,

Ranny Ayu Mahardika, your nice member who always respect you from the very beginning.

Wow such a formal letter ๐Ÿ˜…๏ธ.

Thank you @mayuuram for taking the time to share your message. First off, I'm willing to reflect back on this thread, and assess that I was quick to comment on something that may have not been loaded with intent. The goal certainly wasn't to cut the topic short, and the outcome was definitely undesired.

I would just like to address a couple of things that you said about me:

it is crucial to remember that individuals, including Muslims, cannot be judged based on the actions of a few.

The initial comment I made was never about individuals, it was purely about content assessment. If you're referring to attacks in the name of Islam, this is really not what drove me to comment and thankfully didn't even cross my mind there.

Allowing personal biases or fears to influence our interactions
should not become a platform for projecting personal trauma or fears onto others

Here, you are making an assumption of my assumption. As you can see, this can backfire very quickly. So you're right that we, as humans, each have our own judgment. When you need to enforce moderation, this judgment needs to be on constant alert, while also being under scrutiny by everyone. So yes, subjectivity does play a part into the equation, as well as materials used in any research:

(this isn't to ignite something, just showing that I'm not a one sided maniac)

In retrospect, I acknowledge that I reacted in the spur of the moment, which I understand was a mistake and I'm sorry that happened.

I believe we've circled back around enough in the past few days about this, so I suggest we now close this topic if you all don't mind.
