Also, how could they survive there without knowing the language, without a job and a place to live? And what if living with that people would not be as they imagined or if something goes wrong and they end the relationship? This is why these things happen very rarely, and why being in love with a people who lives very far away from you is almost always a suffering and nothing more.

I think you're right to a certain point, if you take into account those people haven't ever met before in real life. When you do know each other in real life already and have a long distance relationship for a limited amount of time a lot of people can manage it.
