Today I am very late. It is the first of December and I would like to post every day for 24 days. As some of you already know, I am a physiotherapist and I also learned a lot about alternative ways of healing. I was thinking about this forum a lot and what I could recommend on a daily basis.
1Breathing Every patient who comes to me has to learn how to breath. Most of them are not able to breath easily in their belly.
Today put your hands on your belly when you lay in your bed/sofa... When you breath in, your belly moves upwards into your hands. When you breath out, the belly moves downwards. Just breath calmly you don`t have to force it.
Do this for one minute 🙂
If you have difficulties to do that put something warm (hot water bottle or even a cat or dog) on your belly. That helps.
If anybody has difficulties or questions, please contact me or write it here in the forum. Don`t underestimate this "exercise". We dispose most of the body's metabolic breakdown products through breathing. Every breath which is a little deeper than before makes a difference.
I do the exercises every day Christine and i ❤️❤️ them a lott!!!! But if you do the exercise for more than 1 minute it is also difficult to think about the breathing because you also think about a lot of other things even if you dont want that. But i will try 2 minutes like you said!! 🙂
3 This is for you @Yue_🙂 Today you can do the breathing for three minutes!!!
I am also a Jin Shin Jyutsu-Practitioner. The basis of all exercises is to breath consciously. What I like about JSJ is that it is very easy to do and the main focus is to help yourself. You can harmonise physical, emotional and mental complaints by holding one finger. Every finger represents special topics.
So today you can hold your thumb to harmonise worry.
It also helps with complaints according to the stomach and your spleen. It may also help with headaches, insomnia, digestion and stress.
It is okay to clasp the right thumb with the left hand, or vice versa. Don`t press, just easy. Breath calmly, today 3 minutes or you count your breaths until 36 🙂. When you get distracted you start counting again.
Thank you very much for teaching everything @H_E_A_R_T!! 😊😊 Is what you teach also a bit like accupunture and maybe also TCM which is Chinese medicines and you look for the flow of qi and if it is not good you can get sick so you need to repair the flow. Is that same as what you do with Jin Shin Jyutsu or super different? 🙄🙄
And if it is good to hold the thumbs for what you described with the breathing, can you also for example do that for health during the whole day? So like for example when you are in a class or watching movies if it is good for the health?

Thank you very much @H_E_A_R_T!! But how do you know if the state of health and other aspects what you said are correct to do the exercise? I understand a bit more now because it is also very much like accupuncture and chinese medicine!! 🙂
that`s why you don`t become a JSJ practitioner in one weekend seminar. I had a lot of seminars and as I told you JSJ is very good to heal yourself and make your own experiences. And when you want to help others there are easy applications and time limits. It is very tempting to be the healer for others especially when you are a therapist but it is challenging to be patient enough to first get to know yourself. Then you experience that the success of a treatment depends very much on the state of consciousness.
It harmonises complaints with liver and gall bladder. The emotional topics of this finger are rage and anger. It might be coincidence that we show this finger when we are"pissed".
Resignation and Depression are on a deeper level of this emotional disbalance. It may help to do this exercise to support the flow. To feel anger again can be the first step to balance.
But be aware that feeling fear and anger are not bad. It is only critical, when you get stuck in it.
And...don´t forget to breath in your belly. Try to hold your finger for 5 minutes.
I am curious. Did you practise some of it? Although it is very easy to do it, a lot of people don`t trust in the simple things. I would love to hear about experiences. Everybody will experience it differently.
And there is another tip: When you want to hold a finger and you can`t do it with the other hand you can just put the thumb on the nail of the desired finger. And when you want to "hold" the thumb, you put the middle finger on the nail of the thumb. This way it`s even easier to harmonise yourself and hardly anyone will notice.

P.S. I guess on Monday I will put some pictures in the post. But if anyone wants to, you can put pictures in it how you practise it. I`ve got a seminar this weekend, starting tomorrow. So it will be difficult for me to post until Monday.
What you describe is very beneficial for your health. Actually "this" breathing is a way to consciously have influence on your autonomic nervous system. That is special because normally it works without "us". We don`t have to think about our heart to beat or the liver to work. Thank God! But we can support this system by being balanced.
Maybe I will explain some more about it.
But now it`s already the sixth of December and here is the new "door" of the calendar
6 Today you can hold your ring finger.
For everybody who didn`t follow this forum, please read the first post about breathing. The harmonising works a lot better when you are balanced.
The ring finger harmonises grief and other topics dealing with letting go. The lungs and the large intestine benefit from this.

Thank you very much for this forum and the tips @H_E_A_R_T!!! I did it every day but yesterday because we celebrated Sinterklaas in the evening with my class at the house of one i did not do with the new fingers the exercise.
So for me the breathing goes well but still it is difficult after for example 2 minutes to keep focussing on the breath. And every time i start again and REALLY try to only focus on the breath but sometimes just other things come in your mind. I cant help that. But i just start again several times. 🙂
And with the fingers I have with my thumb it just feels a bit warmer if you hold it but that is maybe because you hold it with the other hand so that is normal i guess. But with the second finger it can get really warmer and that it is ticking if that is the right word. Like that you feel it a lot like somebody tickles it but harder. That is MUCH bigger response than the thumb because with the thumb it does not do so much like the second finger.
Today i will try the other two fingers exercise. But you have to also to the previous ones right? So breathing 3 minutes exercise. And after that exercise with each finger like for example a minute? 🙂
This finger harmonises ‘efforting’ and ‘trying tos’, so many people smile on the outside but hide their real "face". That does not mean that you shouldn`t smile, but when you don`t deal with your topics that bother you, it will exhaust you.
It harmonises issues with the heart and the small intestine.
Although it is easy to do these exercises I put the pictures in it now. Have fun with it and do the breathing I explained above.
11 The following eight days i would like to show you 8 Mudras that you can hold. There are a lot of benefits but I won`t tell you yet. It`s worth to do them and make your own experiences.
Mudra 1
Hold your left middle finger so, that the right thumb lies on the inside of the finger and the other fingers lie on the outside.
...and again, do the breathing I explained in the first post.
