I found that European and Americans tend to use their own photos as social media avatar,which make me feel refreshed. I wonder if there's privacy problem or safety problems in your countries,such as ai Synthetic film, fraud...

yeah it is, cyber fraud is a global issue in which unresponsible individuals use someone's pic to trap them into their game (maybe for money, for their pleasure's need, to gain something, etc. and it's mostly happen in dating apps), if you feel concern about it, you can use google lense feature to make sure if it's real person or no.

but, in here, i don't mind if it cartoon, view, famous people, or whatever pic you use, cause i don't care how you look like. you cool, i'm cool. vice versa. but personally i use my pic as profile pic to give them clue how you should act (i don't like being treat as a little girl to stranger, mostly men did it and i feel so offended and belittled)

i thought that chinese boys and girls prefer anime photos because they love the characters.
