16: Do you have a best friend in real life and a best friend online? And for the best friend online: what would you do if you can meet in real life for like a day?
I used to have a best friend in real life, but it is not a good story. We literally grew up together, since we were 6 years old, we were in the same classroom and we spent every single day together at school and also after school, in the afternoon, because we lived very close to each other, and went out together almost every day at the park close to our house, and the same was in the summer, during holidays. We stayed together and were best friends since we began the high school; during those years, we lost the contact a little because we went in different school. One day i casually met him in the street, but when i greeted him, he ignored me. I was a bit shocked for his reaction, but i went to him and asked if there was something wrong. He said there was nothing wrong, but he would explain me on the phone, once he was at home. But when i was back home, i looked at my phone and i found out he removed and blocked me. In the following weeks i tried to go to his house and ring the bell, but only one time his mother answered me, telling me she would talk to him and tell me in the following days; i waited for a very long time, but i've never heard of them anymore. At the beginning i was very sad, of course, because that behavior simply didn't have any sense, but i knew i never did anything bad to him, so i just thought he was a weird person, to treat me like that for no reason, and i realized that, after all, he probably didn't care anything of me anymore. About people online, most of them disappointed me as well in the last years, but i have some nice friends, even if i wouldn't define any of them as my best friend. I'm a very shy person, but if they would meet me in real life, i'd probably accept with pleasure, though none of them live close to me, so it would be very hard to meet them in real life.
17: What is the biggest dream for yourself in the future?
It may be very banal to say, but my dream for the future is just be happy about my life. I don't want to be rich, i don't want to be famous, i don't want to have success at work and i don't want to have many women or friends around me, i just want to be happy about my life and what i do, though i perfectly know happiness is not forever. Anyway, to say something more "concrete", i'd like to live in a city with the sea, i'd like to find a job i like to do, and i'd like to find a person who really appreciates me.
18: Can you tell a nice story about you and your family or one member of your family from the past?
When i was a kid, during summer, when i had holidays from school, i always went to my grandparents house, to spend the days together with them. During the morning, i remember i went our for a walk with my grandfather, at the park or at the woods close to my house; i was really interested in bugs, and we always stop to look at them closely, every time we found one. Sometimes we just sit on his favorite bench at the park, to talk about everything, waiting for the lunch. When we back home it was lunch time, and we used to eat all together, talking about how we spent the morning. Then, in the afternoon, we enjoyed playing cards or other games, and i used to eat a snack while reading some Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck comics. It was nothing, but at the same time it was everything to me, they were some of the best moments of my life. Now my grandparents are not here anymore but, sometimes, when i go out, i sit on the same bench i used to sit on with my grandfather, when we went at the park. I sit there for some minutes, thinking about all the beautiful moments we spent together, and sometime it brings me tears to my eyes.
19: What are three things from your bucket list?
There are many things i'd like to do in my lifetime, but if i have to choose three, they would probably be: visit America at least one time, eat bugs and other weird foods i've never tried, dive underwater. The first one is a classic for many people, i'd like to see with my eyes how America looks, how is living there, visiting the most important places and see things i've never seen before. For the weird foods, i'm just curious to try how they taste; i like to try to eat everything, included foods that don't look very appetizing (for example i ate frogs few months ago, for my first time ever). About diving underwater, i love sea and i love how seabed looks, so i'd like to see it in first person at least once, there are many awesome fishes and animals beneath the sea, and watching them is one thing i'd really want to do.
20: What is the most happy moment now in your life? And what are you the most proud of?
In the past i lived many beautiful and happy moments, especially the ones i spent with my family, with my grandparents, and with my friends. Currently, even if almost everything has changed in my life, i still love the moments i spend together with my family and friends. No matter what we do, if i'm with them, i'm happy! Because "There are not special places, but there are persons who would make every place special". Furthermore, i'm happy when i look at my collection of cards, because it required me many sacrifices to collect them, and i made many mistakes too with them, in the past. And my collection makes me a little proud too. Other things i'm proud of are the moment when i got the degree in Anthropology and every moment when i help somebody, how i can; helping others always makes me joyful!
Bonus question: can we ask you more questions in the future? π
Of course you can! π I loved to answer your questions Yue, and thank you so much for that! So, always feel free to ask me what you prefer, when you want! I hope you liked this interview as well, it was a very special moment for me, and it also brought back many memories to me. So thank you again, and thanks to everybody who read it!
