What would you do if a PPG member would asked you out? Everyday life and customs

There was one time a person asked me on PPG to meet really in my country and I thought it was maybe ok. But that was not a good idea and I did not know he also asked others and it was maybe not safe. I talked a lot with two of my best friends on PPG about it and they helped me a lot. So if it is REALLY meeting someone I would now always first ask my parents and if they say yes I would only meet if it is safe.

But if that is not a problem, I would say yes to a friendship date to I think almost anyone of my friends here on the forum or from private chats. I dont feel uncomfortable with that (maybe only on the date if you dont know very well what you have to say in the beginning).

For a love date I would not ask that myself. And if he asks a love date and it is a good friend I would say yes, but I would say lets stay friends. So it becomes a friendship date. I feel more comfortable with that.

I once met someone from the internet and it was a disaster! He was absolutely not the guy he said he was. It was really bad!
So I would say: always be careful and if you're unsure, ask your parents or friends.

Or you can also arrange with a friend to talk on the phone at a certain time. If you don't get a call, something is wrong...

Honestly, I would prefer to send some pictures first, and maybe (video) call first. If you're ever going to meet someone you only know from the internet, make sure at least one person you trust knows what you're doing and where. Also, send some updates, in particular if you're a bit uncomfortable.

I don't know how to put it into words, but I'll try.
Humans scare me, I'm not good at reading people and I never know what's going on inside their heads. I also don't give a lot of information about myself to people I meet online, so it would be very strange, maybe even creepy, if someone from Penpal Gate asked me out.
That's only part of it, but I really don't know how to explain this, I can't find the right words...
