What did u do for new year? Everyday life and customs

I went to the best hotel in Kolkata - Novatel.
I did the ₹6000 package, which included Bonfire, DJ, unlimited food of different cuisines 😜, and dancing. And then at 12AM dot there was a bashing firework! 🖤 (it's noise is still ringing in my ears 😒)

In sri lanka, new years is 13- 14 April and it's called Sinhala Hindu new year. For that we use lunar calendar . There are lot of traditional activities do it on a precise timing such as light up cooker, first meal of the year , bath,. leaving for job.......

I called some friends, ate tasty food with my mom, her friends and my grandmother and made a list of "New Year resolutions."
