Hellooo everybody!! 🙋♀️ I wanted to make a new daily forum where we can just talk about a lot of different things from daily life. SOOO if u like that too then u are super welcome and u can just choose which statement u like to react about!! 😊😇 ANDDD anybody can just drop statements to look what people think and discuss it. 🙂
For today i have two statements:
➡️ If u do a summer job and you are below 18 or 21 u should not have to pay tax bc u already dont get a lot!!
➡️ In school u need not only subjects which u can earn a lot of money but also which are important for the country (like history and arts).
Do you agree ✅ with the statements or not ❌ ? And why? 😛😛
➡️ If u do a summer job and you are below 18 or 21 u should not have to pay tax bc u already dont get a lot!!
In France, I believe you pay little to no income tax on a summer job, unless you really earn a lot of money or if you are not a student anymore. I'm not so sure though because things always change. That said, yes I agree ✅. Being a student often means you are not really rich unless mom and dad are behind you...
➡️ In school u need not only subjects which u can earn a lot of money but also which are important for the country (like history and arts).
School do neither nowadays. They teach you to be a worker/citizen who won't ask too many questions, and work for a not too high salary. They basically already teach you in a way that is important for the country, somehow, which is different than being good for the people 😉
➡️ If u do a summer job and you are below 18 or 21 u should not have to pay tax bc u already dont get a lot!!
I agree because it's almost impossible to make money when you're under 18, no one wants to hire you. So if they ask for taxes on the little you make, it's just evil.
But I think it's already like that in a lot of places, so that's a good thing.
➡️ In school u need not only subjects which u can earn a lot of money but also which are important for the country (like history and arts).
I agree because you can't find your passion if you don't try anything. So by not teaching those things, they not only keep their people uncultured but they also make it more likely that the citizens will hate their jobs.
Luckily those things are also taught at schools in a lot of places.
Thank u very much @Lianshen and @Miss_Penpal!! 😊🙏🙏 Before i make the two new statements for today i wanted to also answer myself:
➡️ If u do a summer job and you are below 18 or 21 u should not have to pay tax bc u already dont get a lot!!
I am not even sure if i have to pay taxes. Today was the first real day i had with the Albert Heijn which is a huge super market and i work some shifts in the week to bring the new stocks if the old stocks are empty on the shelves. And today was the FIRSTTT real shift i did and i was already recognised by two people i know and one lives in our street and she told my mom and thought it was super funny!!! 😛😛 BUTTT i dont know if what i get every hour that u also have to pay taxes and if the shop pays it or if i have to do it maybe. But i think that maybe for summer jobs u should not have to do that if it is a rule. Bc that way u work for every hour for even less and when i babysit for example i dont have to pay taxes at all!! So i think the same should be for working in a super market or maybe another summer job. 😇😇
➡️ In school u need not only subjects which u can earn a lot of money but also which are important for the country (like history and arts).
In our school it was a discussion bc for next year they will now give some classes which had only few students but they will continue them BUTTT it was first a discussion if they would do that. For example i had last year art history as my second EXTRA subject but there were not many other students. So they discussed if next year they also offer it as extra subject for students if they want that and i am happy that they said yes but it was not certain at all. So i still have a LOTTT of subjects that are normal like the beta subjects such as math and chem and bio and physics and also languages and history but also extra subjects like art history and it is nice if u can also do that. And ALSO i dont know which will be important for the job later bc i doubt now between medicine researcher, journalist or maybe something with art. So it CAN be that chem is more important ORRR languages or maybe art history. So u dont even know for every person which subject is the most important!!!
I have two new statemens but ANYBODY who wants it can just add statements so ppl can react!!! 🙂
➡️ If u read a book it is much nicer to read a paper book then e-book!!!!
➡️ Everybody will in 10 years have a chip in their head or maybe hand for all kind of things like ur house to lock it and to pay for stuff for example.
What do u think of these statements?? But if u want u can also react to ANY statements in this forum and anybody who wants it can do that!!! 🙏🙏😊🥰

1) I always prefer the tangible product to something digital. Still, the digital version is much easier to carry around, especially when traveling. A bag full of books can be tedious.
2) Honestly, this theory isn't new. I can remember discussing this in grammar school back in the 80s. I think tattooed bar-codes are what we thought the future would look like. Wireless tech wasn't really a concept back then unless it was battery powered, so we figured the bar code would replace things like money, your driver's license, passport, etc.
As far as an implanted chip... I don't see it happening. Some people would probably do it, but I think most probably won't.

Yes and it's better for health

I won't have it for sure. There is a film called 'In Time' about this topic.
Thank u very much for answering Jayyy @Based_Aura and @Korisnik!!! 🙂 For me the answers are:
➡️ If u read a book it is much nicer to read a paper book then e-book!!!!
I prefer reading a paper book if is for myself bc u can just sit on couch and hold it and feels MUCCHHH nicer. And also we have at some places like for example at train stations that there is a closet and u can leave books u dont want anymore and other people can take them. But also i like to look and get books myself that are there that are maybe nice and after u read them u can just bring them back or swap it with a different book later. 🙂 And tbh ALSOO for school i prefer if is paper bc u can make easier notes and highlight and use colour tabs stickers and it is different if u make like digital with balloons for the comments and it is just different and not better at all.
➡️ Everybody will in 10 years have a chip in their head or maybe hand for all kind of things like ur house to lock it and to pay for stuff for example.
I dont think so but at least i dont want a chip AT ALL. I DONT LIKE needles and also if they put things in ur skin or body. So i just use a waller or key or normal things instead of a chip and i think not a lot of ppl would want that. So it will not really happen a lot.
I will make tomorrow two new statements!!! Sorryy that i did not make them yesterday but i was super busy and today i did an EXTRA shift for my summer job bc it is first week and i dont want to say no if they ask it or it is maybe really bad. And i dont mind it at all too. 🙂
