She makes nice topics I find it hilarious of her/him because it shows that many men only go by a profile picture to talk to someone; a real pen pal doesn't do that.

Because they give them manuals with detail instructions how to talk to people whom they divide into several groups and subgroups based on age, sex, character, etc. This profile is created with obvious intention to rob lonely men, preferably around Dracula's age or older. Maybe even to lure them to a meeting and then to steal their organs and left them to die or to capture and enslave them and then to force them to perform these scams. It would be fun to waste his time, but then his enslavers could beat him up, rape him and starve him even more then they already do because he allowed us to waste his time. That's why I think the best to report these kind of profiles (I have already done that and I hope all of you will as well), not to talk with them at all and to hope he will escape as soon as possible. If you are religious than you can also pray for him and for his tormentors.
Lonely people who fall for these romance scammers need to think about what are the odds that some good-looking person 10 or more years younger than them will genuinely be interested in them. Yes, yes I know it can happen, but let's be realistic and say those are very extreme cases.

Honestly, no sympathy for a lot of the people who get caught up in these scams. And generally, they start going after you when hit 40 or so.
I get being lonely. Been there, but I don't get why people fall so hard for someone they never met. Why they believe the most outrageous lies when it comes to parting them from their cash and why some of them put up with abusive behavior when they try to stand their ground.
Real or not. Someone who makes money a primary reason why they want to be around you is best avoided. Learned from experience with that one. I don't tolerate anyone who always seem to be broke and needs assistance.
Again. People fall this shit because of the sad need for validation.
People do funny things give money to complete strangers then come on social media and tell the world how they have Been touched up.
