HELLO EVERYONE

QUESTION 01 "Is the sense of 'SELF' created by the existence of the body? "

I am not really sure if i understand it completely what you mean but i think mostly because in your head you think. So maybe every person who thinks that you think of yourself and of others. 🙄🙄

The soul is the key🙂

When you use "sense" in the meaning of awareness, I would say NO.
I believe in awareness of 'Self', independent of a body.

When it is in the meaning of feel(ing), it is YES.
The new born -and even in earlier stages in the body of the mother-
is developing a sense of 'Self' by communicating with its own
body parts and through interaction with others.
It goes through different stages and becomes more
refined with every experience.
I believe it finally comes to a point where there is a realisation
that 'I' am not my body, feelings...
Self-Realisation

Thank You for your post, Yue, Andy, Christine.
Spots on d
ifferent aspects. I love it.... 😋🙂

Yue: When you look into a mirror or you crash you leg, who make
the experience. You would say: 'I' or 'ME'. Is this I or ME created by
your body?

Andy: Well, that is a cute answer that avoids my question... 🙂

Christine: You are far too long at my side...

I hope a few more members will play.
Lets wait a bit longer....

I think what happens for example to your leg then it is your body and everything from your body is made by your mom or that you grow. BUTTT if you are hurt or that u see things then in your head you understand the pain or that you know what u see that u like it for example or maybe not or that u recognize somebody. That is also why for example with dementia or other things that happen in your head and brains then everything like that gets different again. So if u think about I after you have your leg hurt, it is the most in your head i think.

It is a tricky Forum, yes but it can give some light into many
problems too. The deepest forums here deal often with the
symptoms but rarely with the roots. So maybe....

The sense of ‘I’ is in fact generated by the intellect. The intellect
identifies with the body and creates the illusion of a person, the 'I'.

The Self or Transcendence is NOT depending on a creation but
likes the entertainment that coming with it. Some call it SOUL.

QUESTION 02 "Is the SOUL of a person individual...? "

Edited by Lir_Elhan .

Hallo..., I don´t think so. I guess the soul is also part of the Self

maybe an expression of development of consciousness?

Tricky and deep question!

For me it is the candle insight of my heart,
which guids me the way into the light and
is itself part of it. I percieve a kind of longing.

I think it is not individual.

But what is a soulmate?
I think that this other one has a similar way
to percieve the soul.

Maybe I am on the wrong track.
The deeper I get involved in thinking, the more difficult
it is to distinguish the definitions of Self, Soul, Light...

c.

The soul is the being...eternal... the body is temporary. To be exchanged for a new.here or elsewhere😊🙂

I think....

I don´t think....

I think it is not....

The soul is....

Thank You, Yue, Monika, Christine and Andy 🌹 🌹🌹 .🌹_

Maybe, just maybe, it is not so much about finding THE ABSOLUTE ANSWER, in this case?
BUT ... it makes a very decisive difference, if someone is looking for it.

You ALL are wonderful

P. S. Look also for the meaning of 'ATMAN' -- if you like. It slightly differ from the European 'SOUL'

A Question (03) has arisen: If there is a soul that survives physical
death, why do we not remember our previous incarnations?

Edited by Lir_Elhan .

I almost forgot about that!

To keep our brains from burning out!
To be surprised from time to time.
To appreciate new experiences.
To save the magic.
To enjoy the scavenger hunt to 'Self'

That`s the game!

To appreciate new experiences....

How many, in trouble, wold just 'go' if they knew for sure...?
