1: How long have you been on PPG as a member and what do you like the most of PPG? And if you can say someting to @Etienne about PPG what would you like him to know?

I discovered PPG in 2022. Since 2023, I've been coming and going. Every now and then, I deactivate my account and then come back. I can only say one thing to @Etienne: thanksssssssss! Because he's always available and because he invented PPG. Etienne🤵 is a very intelligent guy. I have great respect for him.

2: What do you like the most about your hometown Genoa? Did you always live in that city or also in another place? And if you would not live in Genoa: where would you like to live the most?

I like the old part of Genoa, where there are many ancient buildings, churches, and narrow streets called "caruggi." I currently live in the countryside, quite close to Genoa. I'd love to live in Rome, the Eternal City.

3: Which person do you miss the most on PPG and why? If you can say smt to that person what would you say? And who are now some of your best friends here? And what kind of persons do you like the most to chat with?

I don't miss anyone on PPG. But there's one person I'm worried about. @Parsaa. I'd like to know if he's alive and well. And I wish Iran could live in peace. My best friends on PPG are (in alphabetical order): @faber_88, @Fleurke, @Vaca, @Simone724. I like chatting with Italian people because I don't get along well with English. I also have other pen pals who don't frequent PPG.

4: Can you cook very well? And what is the dish you think is the best that you can make? And what kind of food do you like if you DONT cook and what cuisine do you like OTHER than Italian foods?

I can cook quite well. My favorite dish is pasta with pesto (a sauce made with basil). I like making apple pie or cake with yogurt 🍰 or with chocolate🍩. If I dont cook, I like pizza🍕🍕🍕🍕! I only know Italian cuisine.

5: What kind of music do you like the most and can you play music also yourself? If you can be at a concert of somebody you like, who would you choose?

I like Italian music from the '70s and '80s. I don't like going to concerts.

6: What are your biggest hobbies when you have free time? And what are things that you would really try as maybe a new hobby or just to try it once?

My main hobby is writing. Then Penpal Gate and Facebook. I'm in touch with many people in Italy and other countries.

7: Which three persons in Italy do you think are really great and special? They can be people who live now or who lived in the past. What do you admire of them? And when you were young did you have an idol? And if yes who was it and why was that person an idol?

In today's Italy I don't see truly great people. In the past Italy had many great figures. I'll mention three who worked in very different fields: Giacomo Matteotti a socialist politician killed by fascism; Francesca Cabrini, a missionary who helped Italian immigrants in the United States; and prince Antonio De Curtis, a very generous man who was the greatest Italian comedian. I've never had an idol.

8: When you were in high school what was it like? Which subjects did you like the most and which the least? And how were your teachers and your classmates? Do you still have contact with them?

I don't have good memories of high school. The subjects I enjoyed most were Italian, History, and Geography. I fondly remember my elementary school teacher, who passed away a few years ago. She was a somewhat eccentric nun. I spent a few years with the nuns. Some of them weren't Italian but came from Asian countries. It was an important experience that still leads me to oppose all forms of racism. I recently reunited with some of my elementary school classmates.

9: Do you have a family member you like the most (like maybe one of your parents or a grandparent or subling or ANYONE)? And what are nice memories u have of things together with them? And do u also have friends who COULD be like family almost?

There was a family member I was very close to during some very difficult years. It was a very personal, beautiful and also painful experience. I have several friends who are like a second family to me. I met some of them through pen pals.

10: If you could do three things from your bucket list (and you can choose ANYTHING): what would you do?

First of all I'd like to go back in time and relive my entire life... and I'd also like to meet Agatha Christie, my favorite writer. Secondly, I'd like to see a person I've been in love with for over 40 years. And... didn't we say we had to conquer or occupy the Château de Chambord in France to make it the headquarters of Penpal Gate????
