For me i like mooncakes with different fillings and i also like pandan cake. From western cakes i like carrot cake but also cupcakes but it depends on the glacing around it. For me the taste is the most important and also how much. That is not only bc if you eat a LOTTT that you can get fat. But for me it is also that i really get ache in my belly if it is too big as portion. And that makes the taste also better bc when you get fuller the taste changes. I hope it makes sense and that you understand what i mean!! 😛 😛

Thanks I intend for my first project to be carrot cake and chocolate cupcakes but I'll try to make mooncakes they look pretty.
I love Millefeuille, my grandmother sometimes makes some for special occasions. It might be difficult for a first cake, but it's not so bad if someone shows you how to do it and you have some experience in baking. So you can watch a video or try to do it freestyle(although that can go very wrong, especially when we're talking about cakes...) when you think you're ready. Or not do it at all.
I like that the pastry is sweet and crunchy. The pattern is also very important for the dish. It adds a little je ne sais quoi, and I feel like something is missing when it's not there.

I'd recommend making an apple cake (not pie) and when you're a bit more experienced red velvet cake. Also, brownies are nice as well.

In my region the „Blackforest-Cake“ or as we say „Schwarzwälder-Kirschtorte“ is very popular. I actually don‘t like it that much because of the cream that is inside of it, but almost everybody here is loving it. It’s difficult to bake it but if you don‘t have a problem with cream it could be worth the effort.
What I like very much is the so called „Maulwurfkuchen“ or „German mole cake“. It‘s very delicious with chocolate and bananas and it‘s also not very difficult to make. It looks like a molehill, that‘s the reason for it‘s name.

I made it myself! So first try was my own and I must say it was tasty, but too sweet for me. It's not baked with cocoa, because it'll get brown when you bake it. You use a red food coloring and there's no chocolate used.
