Hello everybody! 🙋‍♀️ Today is National Paranormal Day!! 😬😬

So i have just two questions:

1️⃣ Do you believe in paranormal things and if yes did you ever experience it?

2️⃣ Are you curious about it or scared and what do you want to know or find out (or NOTTT at all)?

I don’t believe in paranormal stuff, but I like creepypasta-like stories, urban legends but also clearly fictional stories, like the SCP universe.

Thank you very much @PeterPositiv!! 🙂 But you like the stories and legends bc you just like them or also bc you believe stuff too? 🙄🙄

For me the answers are:

1️⃣ Do you believe in paranormal things and if yes did you ever experience it?

I did not really experience myself BUTTT i do believe in some things. Not most but i do believe in like spirits or something of energy that can be good or bad. Like an evil spirit. Some from school like to joke and for example have a board or other things that you can call spirits or that you make them awake and i really dont like that and i feel uncomfortable. But i dont believe in a lot of other things.

2️⃣ Are you curious about it or scared and what do you want to know or find out (or NOTTT at all)?

I dont want to communicate with spirits or persons who are dead. I dont know if it is REALLY possible but i DONT want to find out about it. I think with paranormal things that some of it can be real and that if you try to contact it than it can be dangerous bc you dont know what it really is and what it can do. So i am not curious about it and i dont want to disturb it.

1: yes i am (same for reincarnation stuff and afterlife)

2: im also a bit agnostic though but very curious about many stuff

Can i ask @Ilexforest did you also experience paranormal things yourself? 😬🙄🙄

@Yue_ not sure but i heard rumours that my current care house is appearently haunted (same for my last 2)

I like to imagine these stories are real, even though I know some are made up and there are non-anomalous explanations for others. I generally like stories to „escape“ into fantastical worlds and urban legends have a certain appeal, because they feel more real. Scary stories are fun, because you can get some adrenalin whilst staying in the comfort of your own home.

But I don’t actually believe they are real.

On another note: I‘ve been thinking about some systems for classifying paranormal beings, summoning etc. for fictional worlds. Maybe I‘ll use them someday in a book or a DnD campaign.

I like the stories from tom slemen/haunted liverpool too (especially the jester/clown stories)

is it paranormal that only on my birthday some Lamps are going on/off duering the party.
