Used to be a frequent flyer prior to covid. We currently have limited our flight movements to one holiday per year.

Our daughters generally go to school on their mini bicycles. No speed as Max Verstappen. Getting properly trained in road safety is a big plus!

@Savi2024 my kids also always going to school on bike even my youngest of 5years thank you for your answer

I untherstand you like the car its a freedom because when you take the bus you must always waith the hours he ride. I think its beautifull the place you lived enjoy it and good luck with your studys@Josouke

Fortunately, when I had to use the bus regularly, during my studies, the bus was always on time and took more or less the same time as by car.

But during the pandemic, the bus sometimes never shown up. It wasn't funny at all.

Since then, the situation is better, but the ride has changed and now sometimes takes twice the time than by car. It's useful when you have nothing else, but less useful when you have an apointment during your work hours and it takes an eternity in transportation.

The taxibus can be practical too, but I'm less comfortable and we are limited in the number and the size of bags so, I can't use it if I have my grocery, for example.

We now have an urban bus in my city that is free, if you have the pass. I would've loved it when I went to work by bus, a few years ago!

Finaly, sometimes, I miss the ride by the river. The landscape was nice to look at.

@Josouke Many bus lines in Belgium have been removed, meaning that journeys that used to take 30 minutes now suddenly take 1 hour per journey because many stops have been removed. I live 1 minute from a river and I cycle there every day, it is beautiful to see.

Woww that is cool if you can do horsebackriding!! I also think that would be nice but you can get bigger injuries than with other sports if an accident happens.

I am curious if there are many people on PPG who do horse riding and if they got injuries (i hope NOTTT of course)!!! 🐎🤕🤕

@Yue_ i did it a few yrs at adapted stable/manege specifically for ppl with special needs

Would you like to go to the manege again for riding classes? 🙂
