1: How long have you been a member of PPG and what are the things that you like the most? And you made a BIGGG hit with the birthday forum!! 😛 Did you expect that?

I've been here for 5 years (I had to check on my profile to be sure haha). I came on here because my mom has penfriends and I wanted to have some too so a penfriend of my mom suggested this site. Idk if she's still on here or who she is. I found some penfriends and LOTSSS of other friends to chat with! I really like chatting with people, the forums and creating/changing my profile every once in a while. I'm not in the chatroom a lot but a few times I had really fun/interesting chats there too!

No, honestly didn't expect that the birthday forum would be alive this long, but on the other hand its something where everyone can write something, because everyone has a birthday so it does kinda make sense.

2: What is your homecity like? Is it Undheim? What are the nicest things about your homecity if people come to visit and which parts do you like the best if you are with friends?

My homecity is Undheim, but its not really a city its a village! About 600 inhabitants i believe. I do like that its calm, you know a lot of people, the nature around it. Sometimes I think living in a bigger city would be easier tho, not sure where I'll live when I'm older and move out.

3: What is your biggest dream that you want to come true? And do you think your life will be super different in 5 years from now?

Maybe have a partner have a job I like (although I don't know what I want to do yet). I don't know, probably, hopefully haha!

4: You told me that during the week you are at a boarding school. Can you tell what it is like? Do you like it and do you have a lot of friends? And do you share a room or is it yours?

I really like boarding school! I travel there every Sunday evening (15.30-18.30) and travel home every friday (13.00-17.00). I have a room for myself, some have rooms for 2. I have a friend group of 3-4 friends but I like nearly everyone here! Most people are super nice, like wayyyy nicer than I was used to before I started. I was pretty surprised/shocked about that in the beginning haha. we get lunch in the cafeteria, and breakfast although I never eat breakfast. Dinner we have to make for ourselves, we have a shared student kitchen for that! they have some food-necessities there for us otherwise we have to buy it ourselves. They also usually have leftovers from lunch there for us.

5: What is a secret skill that you have that maybe not many people know? And what kind of skill do you not yet have, but you want to get in the future?

This is kind of hard I don't know haha. I don't really have any skills ig lol. I'd like to get lots of skills but if we're being realistic than maybe play an Instrument or something.

PART II

6: Do you have brothers or sisters? And if yes: are you super close? And do you look more like your mom or dad?

I have a 14 year old brother (Frederik), we're somewhat close, but because I live in boarding school and he's superrr social and has lots of friends, we honestly don't see each other a lot! I wouldn't say I look a lot like my mom or dad. Me and my brother have the same hair colour, I'd say there are few similarities but maybe more than with my parents. But nobody in my family looks really similar to me tbh

7: What kind of sports have you done in your life? And what kind of sports would you still like to do? And are you creative and artistic?

I did Hand ball for 2 (or 3??) years, in like 5th grade or so. i don't really remember much lol. I wasn't good at it nor did I like it, only reason I did it was because every girl in my class did it.... Now I go to the gym with my dad/brother whenever I have holidays and am home. Otherwise I go on walks or try to go jogging outside for activity etc! But I'm not a lot into sports, other than walks and gym maybe. I hate ball games or team sports as I'm scared of the ball + get so nervous that people will think I'm bad at it (bc I am, but still)

8: If you can change anything in Norway what you like, what would you change? What do you think is the most important challenge for Norway in the future?

Uhhhh, this is hard. There are definitely things I'd change, but I'd have to do a lot of research to find out about those things, and think a lot and I'm a little to lazy right now, sorryyyy

9: If your parents let YOU decide where you go on holiday in the summer (and you can choose ANYWHERE), what would you choose if you have a vacation of 2 weeks? What is your biggest dream destination?

Right now I REALLY want to go to Croatia, or somewhere around there!! Like Eastern Europe, especially at the coast of the mediterranean sea! I'd also love to go to Turkey or Russia (Although that one might be difficult to get to at the moment). So probably something like that. I also reallly want to go to south america, but for longer time, like a couple of months maybe even a year abroad if possible. But there are SOOOOO many places I want to go to!!!

10: You told on the forum that you have social anxiety. Do you think that affects you a lot? And do you have tips for other people who also have anxiety and how to cope with it?

Its gotten better after I've found the right friends, and started to care a little less about what people think about me & know myself better. I don't know for sure that I have social anxiety, because I am not diagnosed (I wanted to get a diagnose, but turns out its REALLY difficult to get to a test like that + costs money etc). But I have 2 friends who are diagnosed, and there are lots of similarities in this.

It was really bad in like 8-10th grade, I had no friends (well, fake friends) and honestly this was somewhat my fault, at least to a certain degree. It was also the people in my class, but now after its over I've realized it was my fault too, even though I hate admitting this.... But I sort of excluded myself, because I overthink everything, so I just kept telling myself that they probably hate, that I'm weird etc. So I actually went days (or even weeks) in school without talking to a soul, some days not even teachers. I got bullied for that too in 8th grade, which didn't help, although I didn't care about the bullying either. It was a boy who couldn't accept the fact that I didn't talk. I actually just didn't answer him when he talked to me in the classroom, because I was scared to talk loud. So he just kept saying my name and it kind of turned into bullying as he kept trying to get me to react/talk back or whatever Idk. I kind of found it funny too tho, it was so stupid of his side, just yelling my name, asking stupid questions, once I actually said hello back and he started yelling about it with his friends. That was so embarrassing, it made me never ever want to talk to him again. Stopped in 9th grade tho. After that i just stayed quiet and got lonelier and lonelier. But now thats over, I know it was partly my fault, but honestly I was just really shy and people made it worse. So I'm happy its over, try not to think back to that although I often regret not talking more, trying to make friends instead of rejecting everytime I had a chance to include myself in social life. I didn't really realize I was rejecting the opportunity to have a social life / friends at the time, I just made everyone else at fault in my head, eventhough it really was my fault too. I could talk forever about this but I'm gonna make a stop here or else no ones gonna read until the end of this lol
