In France, local is pretty much always better than import in terms of quality. However, many of the vegetables sold in stores come from Spain because it's cheaper

what is your favorite products from ur local brand @Etienne?
ohh it's nice @Fleurke, I wonder whether in your country imported products affect your country's economy?
I'm not quite sure, but we do need import for fruits like bananas and oranges, as we don't have the right climate to grow them ourselves. I think flour, eggs and milk are quite local. The most imported things are fruits and vegetables I think, when speaking about supermarkets.
haha i couldn't agree more, the wine from france always taste the best! it's smooth, and the sweetness just fine 😌✨
Interestingly when I was in the US I would still only buy French wine (not because I'm a snob but because it's the only origin I was familiar with) and I thought it was mostly terrible unless you spent big bucks. I never figured out if it was because traveling across the globe altered its taste or because they could get away with higher margins ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
