Extreme right-wing in France 政治与政府

What do you think of the rise of the extreme right in France? Do you agree with their ideas?

Right wing is gaining popularity all around the Europe (France, Italy, Poland, Hungary) and I think that's not going to change soon. People aren't blind they can see that situation on the continent is deteriorating rapidly and new problems are constantly emerging. They blame the leaders for that. Is it good? We will see about that

Yes, it's true, it's not just in France.

Italy
Yes with Giorgia Meloni

The RN is not far right, but right, despite what some people try to say... Their economic program is pretty much socialist, and having national preference or anti immigration projects (not deportation, but lowering the amount of people coming, which is very different) doesn't make a party far right: the communists were pretty much like this 40 years ago - in France.

Also, like for Meloni in Italy, immigration is essentially ruled by the EU and national leaders can't do much unless being far left (as the increasing immigration shows in Italy). I am sure that I would prefer LFI and the welcome to chaos ruling the country or Macron which has done everything and more than what the left accused Le Pen of.

I'd also say that this anti immigration trend in EU is essentially a reaction to what has been done in Europe for the past decades. You can't expect people to be happy when some association are hand in hand with human traffickers to pick up migrant 20km from african coasts and bring them to Italy, or when some other countries funds religious edifices in France, or when EU get blackmailed to accept migrants, or when migrants from some places are almost only young males (they run from wars, but not women and children apparently) etc; then see all the stories about a 12yo girl being raped, a woman being tortured and "raped" with a broom, a little girl being raped and killed and many others, or even having the salaries lowered or kept low because some migrants will be enslaved for the sole reason than Geraldine needs her Uber eat everyday. Only the LFI and communautarists would defend criminals like our locals "George Floyd" and enslavement claiming it is freedom and peace.

Special notes:
- RN is often labeled as homophobic, racist, antisemitic, islamophobic, mysoniginistic etc. I suggest to look at what exactly justify these claims in RN.
- The RN will probably not be able to apply most of its program anyway, because the changes many French people want need a Frexit to be done. This concern immigration regulation, retirement, controle over our agriculture/farming and industry among others.

Nowadays people have serious concerns on nuclear weapons. I must accept that even the idea or the name, is quite terrifiying. In today’s world, with changes in the perception of war and the replacement of conventional war by a new generation of wars, the tools and methods used by states and non-state actors for reaching their goals have changed, as well. "The Most Insidious Weapon Of The Changing World" is mass migration since weaponization of migration is not that difficult as you think. Muammer Gaddafi , who was in power in Libya from 1969 to 2011, paid a visit to Italy in 2010 and said: “Tomorrow Europe might no longer be European, and even black, as there are millions who want to come in.” This was in reference to African migrants attempting to reach Italy illegally from Libya, and he wanted the EU to pay Libya at least 5 billion euro a year to stop that irregular
African immigration and avoid a “black Europe10.” Gaddafi also stated “We don’t know if Europe will remain an advanced and united continent or if it will be destroyed, as happened with the barbarian invasions11,” highlighting the fragility of Europe in the face of migration and signifying his weaponization of migration in this regard.

The weaponization of migration can be categorized into seven groups. These are the coercive, dispossessive, exportive, economic, fifth-column, militarized, and political/propaganda variants of weaponized migration. Since the coercive type of weaponized migration is generally embedded within the dispossessive, exportive, or militarized variants, which are strategically engineered and camouflaged, its prevalence is generally under-recognized and its significance is under-estimated. There is a critical need to diversify the defense mechanisms that can be integrated into routine application to hinder the inhumane use of migration. However the legislative regulations and initiatives recently implemented don't seem like serving their best at all. Right-winger social reaction is the alarm system in this defence mechanism. It may upgrade itself into "far" and "extreme" levels depending on the diagnosis in "demographic disease." It's inevitable.

I don't think the RN can be described as solely right-wing. It's a party that only appeals to a certain minority. It is openly homophobic, writing in its European program that it wants to "limit LGBT ideology". It's a party that wants to limit women's rights by systematically voting against them in the national assembly. It's a party that borders on homophobia.

Of course, many of their measures cannot be applied unless we change the constitution and create a 6th republic, but it's still an extreme right-wing party.

There is a large portion of the RN plan that I personally don't support, but with all due respect you should double check your references because virtually every statement you made is factually incorrect:
- A large proportion of RN figures have been openly gay, the so called homophobia doesn't make much sense. Moreover, "LGBT ideology" has nothing to do with homosexuality - or even the law - it is a political bias (being the very definition of the term "ideology" you rightfully used).
- Their bills can definitely be passed if a referendum approves them beforehand in the current 5th Republic.
- Women have the exact same rights as men and nobody (across all parties) wants to limit them - including the right to abortion. I am genuinely curious as to what makes you think otherwise.
- There is virtually no real right wing party in France. France holds world records in both social spending and taxes. Its economy is literally on the very verge of communism. None of the main political parties in France want to change that system. They essentially all range from literal communism to center left. RN wants to lower the age of retirement, thus increasing even more social spending. This is what some people will call "far right".

We should try to take a step back as often as possible and look at how other countries work, across all continents. We all live in our own respective bubbles, which are hard to escape from (I don't have the pretension to exclude myself from this statement 😛).

It's true: "LGBT ideology" has nothing to do with homosexuality. Many homosexuals do not recognize themselves in LGBT theories. And in any case we are not obliged to follow the LGBT ideology. I understand that French politics is more complicated than Italian politics. Too many parties, too much confusion.

Like Etienne mentionned, being homosexual doesn't mean that you are pro LGBT and the RN is filled with homosexuals. Moreover, how is the RN against women, or more against women than others?
How does the RN wants to limit women's right in France?

If I had to describe an extreme party among the mainstream powers in France, I would definitely look more for the LFI, and smaller candidates who wants to impose their view on other EU countries like Poland, are already pushing away their own members for disagreeing with their leader and call to beat up RN voters while their members "anxiety attacks" at the idea that a vile and fascist party like the RN wins an election, denoting a certain level of brainwashing...

No human being with a little bit of intelligence can agree with the bullshit (sorry) of the extreme right.
The whole shitty right-wing ideology is based on contempt for humanity.
But it is a fact that they are gaining popularity throughout Europe.

What a well balanced and reasonable statement. Could you please first enlighten me with the plans proposed by the NFP in France, then the RN, and then explain how this lead you to your initial conclusion? It should be interesting.

What do you predict for the future of France? What were the mistakes of the European socialist and popular parties that made the right grow in Europe?

Maybe it's gaining popularity, because the real condempt for humanity has appeared already, and not by "extreme right wing", but because of weird, unrational leftist politics. Abortions, higher crime rates because of absurdal uncontrolled imigration, no armies to defend us if something happens, higher life costs, less free speech.

The left and center parties have made disastrous economic policies. Poverty has grown, unemployment has also grown, public services have been cut, such as healthcare. Immigration is out of control. The European Union interferes heavily in the life of individual states. Abortion, euthanasia and issues related to sexuality are treated extremely lightly by left-wing parties. These parties want to impose LGBT ideology even in schools. I don't like Marine Le Pen but her party has grown thanks to the mistakes of Macron and the other French parties.

France has the same problem like Germany in the early 2000s and late 90s: The government didnt want to push necessary reforms to avoid they population becomes angry.

You are one of the very reason why the "far right" and legit extreme ideas are on the rise througout Europe... Saying people are stupid and calling bullshit what is labeled arbitrary as "muh bad" will never give the fruits you expect and is also a root of the fascism your kind claim to fight.

This can be shown with my experience after being out for a few days : I had a good laugh when the first thing I saw about the French elections was that some pro "left" people just called people who vote for the RN in France stupid because most of French without diploma or lower diploma vote for RN and not NFP.
The hypocrisy is palpable and this with all the call to purge France from various leftists shows a lot on politics in France.
