I am an American citizen. Born here. Family been here since the Mayflower. Do their citizens like them? I can't speak to that for all of them. But I can say, that while I am fiercely dedicated to non violent activism, I DO hate Donald Trump. I keep hoping his golden toilet swallows him..... I know the majority of the USA, is not thrilled with what he is getting himself up to and his impact on our communities. But how much of a majority? Not much. He has a sickophantic cult following of people as mentally ill as he is. People who don't understand real life can not be a reality tv show. The world can't function that way.
I think it is hard to keep politics free of these folks... Democracy, is a wonderful thing. I would hate to give it up... That said, when these folks get crazy we all need to do better to non violently remove them from power before they do too much damage. But where does that line fall and who decides? California decided recently. Then the no king's march also took to the streets... So we the people should decide. And at least here gradually we are. The midterms will come. When they do, a leash will at the very least be put on the orange menace.

I think everything will end soon in Iran. The Iranian Foreign Ministry just said that Iran reserves the right to respond with military strikes to a US attack - the Iranians clearly do not want the war to continue.

No, Iran will never be a Russian proxy, while many Ukrainians want to join NATO, it's the leader's discretion to take an appropriate decision.
