  • Something to tell the world!

    Hi! I'm a 17 year old girl from a small village from Italy. I'm currently living in the United States, and will stay here for an entire year. I love traveling around the world and meet new people and cultures, and always enjoy a good book. I love tv series and movies, and could probably talk about it for hours. I speak Italian, English, a little bit of French and German, and I'm trying to study Russian.

  • A personal challenge

    The hardest thing that I've ever done was leaving my entire life in Italy behind for a year. It is still a struggle nowadays; there are moments where I truly miss my family and friends, but then I think about the amazing opportunity that I was given and know that I can make it

  • My proudest accomplishments

    I'm really proud of my exchange year, I feel like I'm more mature since I came here and am really open-minded

  • Cities and countries I have visited

    I traveled a lot in my life, I visited a lot of places in Europe and in the Americas. At the moment I'm spending a year in the United States as an exchange student

  • My interests in other cultures

    I love other cultures! I always want to learn more about other's traditions, from the basics things such as typical foods to more complex and controversial topics such as politics.

  • I'm an expert at...

    I'm not really an expert in any particular field. I'm still undecided on what I want to be in my future, therefore I try to learn as many things as possible about different subjects.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

    I love Game of Thrones, I read all the books published and watched the entire tv series (even if I'm not really happy about the last season). I love reading, I could read anything anywhere, from the Harry Potter books to the cringe-y fanfictions online

  • Living abroad for one year

    I'm already doing a year abroad right now and I chose the United States, if I could ever experience something like this again I would probably go to Korea, India or Asutralia

  • I always enjoy talking about...

    I love talking about anything! I may seem shy at the beginning and not talk too much, but as soon as I gain some confidence I really have a hard time stopping talking. Either way, I really enjoy talking about tv series, books, and music

  • Making the world a better place

    I think that we should be more open to all kind of people. Coming from Europe I still feel that there is a great fear of immigrants due to the terrorist attacks, even when we know that most of them are innocent and victims of the war that is going on in their countries.
