I’m looking for penpals from around the world, gender doesn’t matter but if you’re a guy I’d rather you be between 20 and 23. Eventually I’d like to find a snail mail penpal and get back into writing letters, but I’ve hit a point where I’m honestly bored with decorating my envelopes and letters and don’t know what to write about. Facebook and Instagram are fine for correspondence, and snail mail too but I’d rather talk a bit online first.
I’ve never been out of the country, but I’ve been to Pigeon Forge, Nashville, and Memphis in Tennessee, and Myrtle Beach in South Carolina on vacations.
Genealogy, hands down. I love a good family history mystery even though some drive me insane.
I’m allergic to plums. I found that out when I was 14 and ate a small box full of them from the market at the beach, and the next morning my lips were swollen like I’d just had Botox injections.
I don’t really have *favourite* books, but historical fiction is my favourite genre, especially from the time of the American Civil War, the early 1900s, and WWII. Same goes for movies, but my absolute favourite movie is The Greengage Summer from 1961.
Eurovision starts next week! I love the Eurovision Song Contest and I’ve watched it every year since
2015.
I’ve always been interested in Swedish culture, and I’m interested in Germany and France because I’ve been able to trace a couple of my ancestral lines back there.
People definitely had more morals and common sense about themselves. My parents were born in 1958 and 1962, and it’s easy to see how much things have changed since they were kids.
