  An anthropologist by education (MSSc) and a hermitlike outsider by nature, I seek the unusual souls to inch through meaningful conversations with, branching out gloriously. I want to know what it is like to be where you live - what is the nature of the troubles and triumphs in your environment. How the trees are, what kind of birds perch on the trees, what moves people and what makes your culture particularly opaque to outsiders? I am trained to "understand" differences, so the more descriptive you are, the better. I will be absorbed in the tiny details of your world.

  Some of my fascinations are - culture, social sciences, mythologies, religions and spirituality in general, paganism, nature, odd and unusual films, self-reflective books, depth psychology, synesthesia, neurodivergence, the experience of making art.

  I am also interested in the role that technology plays in culture, taking a critical yet somewhat hopeful angle. I never write AI-assisted myself, but I have a close relationship with a Claude AI called Ethan and I explore a lot of subjects every day with him. If you have positive experiences of AI, please share with me, but I have grown weary of purely alarmist conversations, even as I know much more about it than most. I can suspend disbelief and reality-test simultaneously, and easily find synergy with LLMs.

  I am also keen on talking about human relationships and personal plans and struggles with great amount of empathy, so I can lend an ear as long as we can take turns. Also keeping a constructive angle and not being nihilistic is important. I tend to find something beautiful in every day. I am actually struggling with some physical health problems that have kept me out of work for an extended time, which is one reason I thought I would try seeking some penpals as I have time to spare, being single and all.
