• Something to tell the world!

  Hello! I’m Sophie, 17y old and I’m from Germany. Next months I will have have my „A-level exams“ - that‘s why I want to improve my french skills. After I finished school I don’t want to forget my french skills.
  If you’re interested to write letters in french or if you want to improve your german, in german, write me! I would love to find a new friend!
  If you’re from another country and want to find someone to exchange letters I also would be happy about a message!

• I always enjoy talking about...

  I love to talk about literally anything. I love to dance, to read, to play the piano, to draw, to hear music and to watch movies.
  I‘m especially interested in literature and history- I love to read historic romans and poems. But that’s not everything- if you’re interested in talking about other things, I would like to talk about it even if I know just a few things about it.

• Cities and countries I have visited

  I think I traveled a lot with my family in the last years. We traveled a lot in Europe and in some years I also want to see other parts of the world.

• My interests in other cultures

  I would love to see the differences between different countries concerning the culture. I already lived three months in France and I just loved it! Everything was so different to my home city and it was amazing to explore the country and the different lifestyle!
  I want to find out as much as possible about other cultures.

• Favourite books/authors/films

  I love to read historic romans. I really liked the books of Ken Follett and the biography of Elisabeth I.
  But I think my favourite books where the Harry Potter books.
  The last 10 years I preferred to read fantasy books over historic romans- that’s why I red a lot of fantasy books but the wizard world was always my favourite one.
  I always watch the movies to the books I red but I also really love the Marvel movies.

• 10 years from now

  I want to study medicine. In ten years I hope that I will be a doctor who helps other people, who saves lives. But I also want to see the world. I hope that both is possible to handle.

• Making the world a better place

  We struggle with a lot of different problems- that’s why I think that we need to work on different fronts.
  We need to fight for the environment- there are a lot of ways to do that- I don’t want to play you’re moral apostle now because I think you know what I mean.
  We also need to fight against poverty and Hunger especially in 3-world-countries.
  We need to improve the healthcare-system in a lot of countries.
  But especially we need to fight for democracy, freedom, equality, peace and happiness to make the world to a better place.
