  • Something to tell the world!

My name is Sophia and I'm 15 years old. My MBTI is INFJ and I like to read, write and draw. I've also almost finished my first fantasy novel.
Moreover, I play multiple instruments, namely acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele, keyboard, the recorder, and the harmonica a little. And I've started this project, in which I'm trying to make my own cigar box guitar.
My sport is fencing, and I've got two pets; a dog and a cat, which sort of get along together in a hate-love relationship.
I also like to bake, and I'm doing wood carving.
Basically, I like to do, learn and experience new things as much as possible.

  • I always enjoy talking about...

I'm always in to talk about books (especially fantasy), astronomy, making music, other cultures and countries, languages, life, and a little of everything.

  • My interests in other cultures

I'm really interested in other cultures and their various life styles and mindsets. And I would just like to learn as much as possible.

  • I wish people knew more about...

I would like people to pay more attention to each other and their surroundings, and just their own world.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

One of my favourite book series is Percy Jackson. I really love to read about mythology (especially Greek). My favourite genre is fantasy, but I also like to read fiction and nonfiction history books, and classics. I read sci-fiction sometimes, too.
Moreover, for movies I like the Marvel movies (although the quality of Marvel is decreasing at the moment). And for movie genres, I like fantasy, sci-fiction, documentaries, basically everything except thrillers and horror movies.
My favourite movies are the Lion King and Mary Poppins.

  • A trick or piece of advice

My most important advice is: Enjoy the small moments in life! Enjoy the chirping birds, the sunset and -down, the sun rays falling onto your face. And appreciate what you've got!
Oh, and be nice to yourself. Because you are the only person you have to spend your entire life with.

  • Living abroad for one year

If I had the chance to live one year abroad, I would probably go to the UK. I just love the atmosphere, the language and the accent, of course. And the UK has large bookshops, so they have already gotten bonus points from me.

  • My opinion on human nature

I think humans are selfish at their core, and you can lead all their actions back to what's best for their own well-being. Although, very rarely there are exceptions. But most of the time those people can self-reflect and can see when they are thinking out of self-interest.

  • I'm excited about...

At the moment I'm really excited about finding penpals from all over the world.
