  Most of my life I've lived in Africa. But I've lived in New Zealand for the last 16 years. Also lived in Germany for a few years but a long time ago.

  I've travelled quite extensively in Western Europe, less so in Asia but also in New Zealand and Australia as well as to several African countries

• Waar ik het meest trost op ben

  I've been a practicing Zen Buddhist for well over 3 decades.

  My husband and I once built a beautiful home, high on a mountainside, overlooking a huge bay. I believe it will stand for centuries.

  My husband and I raised two sons to be good men.

  And last but not least, under an oppressive regime I turned my political beliefs into practical activism.
