I'm a 17-year-old male, and I live in Ivrea, Italy .

I speak English, French, some Spanish, German, Portuguese, Latin, Esperanto, and a tiny bit of Chinese (Mandarin).

• My proudest accomplishments

  I've been able to become fluent in English. Now I can understand almost everything written and spoken.

• My interests in other cultures

  I like finding out about other cultures, because they're interesting and can give you other prespectives.

• My feeling about the future

  Yes, my dream is to become a great polyglot, I wanna be able to speak at least 30 languages, the main ones are: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Arabic and so on...

• 10 years from now

  In 10 years I'll be able to speak 20 languages, I'll be gratuated and I'll work as an interpreter.

• I always enjoy talking about...

  I like talking about geography, languages,flags and history or about what you like, it's always a way to practice languages. I like to find out about new cultures as well.

• Making the world a better place

  I think that we're all equal in this world. I hate racism and gender discrimination, after all we're all humans, aren't we? And our cultural differences shouldn't devide us, instead, they should unite us, because all our differences, cultural and linguistic, make our world such a beautiful place!

  Recently I've learnt how to play poker. Soon I'll learn how to play pinacola, briscola, scopa, all other Italian card games.

• Cities and countries I have visited

  So far I've visited San Marino, France, Spain. It isn't possibile to decide which was the Most interesting

• Something uncommon about me

  My passion for languages makes me unique. I don't know anyone else that loves languages as much as me.

• I'm an expert at...

  I'm fluent in English and French. I know much about flags as well, I can reconize every flag of the world. I know much about geography as well, I can tell somebody where every country is in a map with no names, with just the borders.

• I feel concerned about...

  I'm worried about many language future. I mean... I've read that by the end of the 21st century, about 70% of the courrent spoken languages will have disappeared. Some examples of endengared languages: Piedomntese, Lombard, Venitian, Ligurian, Welsh, Irish, Scottish, Basque, Occitan, Franco-provançal, Romantsch, Kurdish, Cimber, Hawaiian, Maori, Lakota, Navajo and the list could go on...

  I'm also worried about wars, pollution and our world's disasters. Unfortunately humans are destroying the world, but I always think positively, so I believe that one day everything will be solved, and humans will be able to live in peace and ecofriendly.

• Something to tell the world!

  Stop racism, sex discrimination and war! We're all humans, and there's only one race, humans! Our cultural differences shouldn't devide us, instead, they should unite us! All the differences we have, cultural and linguistic, are the reason why our world is such a beautiful place!
