Personal skills
1. I enjoy cooking. I try to recreate my favorite restaurant meals or apps at home.
2. I find ways to save money. I don't really like cutting out coupons but I get the satisfaction of not paying full price each time I use them.
3. Husband and I enjoy going for long drives.
4. I can understand Gujarati (especially when my parents talk about me behind my back. lol)
5. I'm a beginner art student. -
Improving the school system
Financial literacy need to be a mandatory part of the curriculum in the U.S. beginning in the third grade (or sooner). Most banks are fully aware that their customers don't read their rules (aka disclosures) and they profit from overdrawn fees. Learning how to handle finances from a young age will help pave the way for responsible saving and spending.
