  • My interests in other cultures

Hi I'm Amber, but my friends call me Ace. I've never really been outside of Texas so It would be really to cool to talk to people from other countries. We can share song suggestions, films, books, or just talk about this crazy world we live in. \
also follow me on instagram @swag.gyghost

  • Childhood pleasures

I loved music as a child. I never really talked much as a child, but I would sing a lot. Growing up I mainly heard tejano and country music. As I got older my interest for music only grew as I discovered all the different types of genres of music.

  • A trick or piece of advice

“I think everything is happening all the time, but if you don't put yourself in the path of it, you miss it.” -Gayle Forman
Basically if you spend so much of your life afraid or unsure you could miss some of the greatest opportunities of your life. Don't be afraid to try something, no matter how scary it might seem. Just go for it. Otherwise you'll be spending the rest of your life wondering what if.

  • Something to tell the world!

"Like a true nature's child we are born. Born to be wild." -Steppenwolf

  • Cities and countries I have visited

Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, Dallas, Denton, Laredo, and Houston are places I've visited in Texas. I've never been outside of it aside from my visits to mexico when I go to see family.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

I love any books by Abbi Glines, Gayle Forman, James Patterson, Shiobhan Davis, and Caroline Peckham. I love the Harry Potter series, any type of horror film, and I cry every time I watch the film Midnight sun.

  • Something uncommon about me

I have a fear of rice because it reminds me of maggots.

  • I always enjoy talking about...

Life, embarrassing stories, music, and films.

  • I'm an expert at...

Writing (poems, songs, books), drawing (though I don't really draw any more), and sewing- in fact I've been sewing since I was 7. I also play the acoustic guitar, but would love to learn how to play the piano and violin.

  • A personal challenge

The most hardest thing I have ever done was when I had to quit the track team at the beginning of the season due to a knee injury.

  • Living abroad for one year

If I could live abroad for one year I would probably want to got to either Fiji or Ireland.

  • I feel concerned about...

I feel concerned about where fit into this world.

  • Life regrets

I don't really have any regrets.

  • My proudest accomplishments

I mostly got over my speech impediment all by myself just by reading books.
