  • A trick or piece of advice

Enjoy the little things in life! It gives your life so much more meaning. People really should learn to appreciate the little things. Sometimes… that’s all that matters.
The smell of fresh rain on the ground, the sun that appears from behind the clouds, when your favourite song is on the radio. Some examples of very nice little things that make me feel alive.

  • I always enjoy talking about...

I love talking about deep stuff en philosophy. Amazing to not talk about daily stuff like what to eat or what weather it is. No,,, bring on the questions that are not so common =)

  • A personal challenge

My most difficult challenge was and still is thinking less negative and believing in myself. Also the number one challenge ever since my childhood: being confident.

  • Something to tell the world!

Have respect for each other and treat each other normally. This way you automatically make the world a little better!

  • My proudest accomplishments

My sweet baby boy, recently born. Until this moment I always heard people say that there is nothing stronger than a mother's love for her child. I can now experience that and it is more than correct.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

Harry Potter! LOVE IT! I have been a true Harry Potter fan since my childhood. Every year on my birthday my uncle would give me another book and when I was a little older he would take me with him every time a movie came out.

  • I'm an expert at...

I'm an expert at overthinking 😅 even with the simplest things. I always have multiple options running through my mind of what I can do. Always considering my choices…
    what can I say… it's a flaw of mine 💁🏻‍♀️

  • I wish people knew more about...

Autism and other kinds of disorders. A lot of people have a stereotypical image about it and that is something I find very unfortunate, but I understand where it comes from. On TV and other sources you get a standard picture of someone who, for example, has autism. What is so important is that everyone is different. Not everyone follows that picture that always comes along.

  • Living abroad for one year

It would be amazing. I would love to get out of my familiar and well known environment. Although I would take my mom, my husband and son with me, because without them I would return home after a day 😅
For example, I would like to go in the direction of Germany, Ireland or Scotland. I've been on holiday in Germany several times and I always feel kind of at home there. I also visited Ireland once and I felt very at home there too.

  • A career without obstacles

I really would like to be peer supporter and help people with my own experiences. I would love to a hare my story and help others with it. Giving advice, offering support. Sounds like a very fulfilling job to me.

  • Something uncommon about me

There is no one like me. I’m even still figuring out my own (instruction) book of a1000 pages long 😅

  • Cities and countries I have visited

In the past few years I have been to several countries. Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England, Ireland and of course Belgium because that is only a half hour drive for me.
Ireland was very cool. I was there with the Irish dance school I attended and the best part was that at one point we went dancing in the pub. The locals loved it and so did we.

  • It was better before

The music. I am an oldies fan. I can also appreciate the music of today, but my heart really goes out to music from the 50s,60s,70s,80s and 90s. I really enjoy that!
I also love to listen to Irish and Scottish music and I am a big fan of Home Free.
So, yeah, actually… I just listen to a lottt of different music genres. I can appreciate almost every genre.

  • Childhood pleasures

I spend a lot of time alone in my childhood. I loved that. In my own bubble without having to think of others. Nowadays I still love that sometimes. Especially when I'm feeling a little off. Then I crawl into that bubble and do my own thing without being pointed out by anyone.
