German student of Political science and Cultural anthropology in Basel, Switzerland

I’m 21 years old, grew up in Germany and still live here in a place just a few minutes away from Switzerland and France. I love reading, traveling, listening to music (mostly 50s to 80s), hiking, visiting museums and galleries, reflecting through diary entries, photography and having conversations with people about my hobbies, about politics, culture, philosophy (I studied philosophy for a year before my current degree), and topics related to my degree.
I’m involved in local politics as a member of a local council and work as a communications coordinator for a member of state parliament. I attend university in Basel (Switzerland). I had my final exams for my degrees in political science and cultural anthropology a few weeks ago and will continue in February with an interdisciplinary graduate program called Changing Societies focussing on the relationship between migration, conflicts and resources.
I love reading! My favorite books and authors are Demian, Hermann Hesse, Sally Rooney, Exciting Times by Naoise Dolan, Haruki Murakami, Sapiens, Human Acts, L'Étranger, Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay, Harry Potter, … My favorite movies these days are Interstellar, Malcolm & Marie and Call Me by Your Name, but they change every month…

As I’m also learning French, Spanish, Korean and Mandarin, I’d love to exchange letters with people who know those languages.

If anyone would like to be my pen pal (snail mail and also postcards), please send me a message! I am open to all age groups and locations!
