  • Something to tell the world!

    Hi there, nice to meet you!
    I‘m Jeanne, I‘m 16 years old and I live in Germany. I‘m a pisces and an INFJ (: My absolute favourite thing ever is music. My favourite artists at the moment are Slipknot, Bleed From Within, Amon Amarth and Korn but a lot of others!
    As you can tell I LOVE metal and rock but I‘ve also got an unhealthy obsession with 80s music.
    I play drums and I‘m quite good at it, I would say.

    I also love animals (except spiders -.-) and everything that has to do with nature. My favourite animals are dogs and chicken but I actually can‘t choose between all the others.

    I‘m looking forward to find new friends and to chat with nice people! I hope to improve my English, French or Dutch and I also wanna help people who want to learn German.

  • I always enjoy talking about...

    I always enjoy talking about deep questions of human existence or simply other questions or theories which you can discuss for YEARS if you take it seriously.

    I‘m also open to chat about music because I absolutely LOVE music.

  • Personal skills

    I would say my skills are learning things quickly and with interest (but just if They‘re explained in a nice way). I‘ve always been very good at learning new languages and using my feeling of language to understand things.

    I‘m also a good listener so feel free to talk to me about anything you want!

    I would also say that I‘ve got a very good rhythmical feeling (if that‘s right?) since I played the drums and other percussion instruments my whole life.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

    My favourite books at the moment are for sure the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit triology. Currently, I‘m reading Narnia but school takes my motivation xd The Grishaverse is also one of my favourites tbh xD

    My favourite movies are also the Lord of the Rings movies or Harry Potter but I‘ve grown a bit out of it. Actually, I really like Tim Burton movies like Corpse Bride or Nightmare before Christmas, they just remind me of the spooky season and comfort me.
    My favourite Netflix shows are Heartstopper, Stranger Things, The Alienist, Shadow and Bone and the Umbrella Academy. I‘m also watching Vikings rn!

    As you can see, I‘m very interested in any kind of fantasy and adventure stories but I do also like horror!

  • Cities and countries I have visited

    So far, I have visited France and the Netherlands but I dream about travelling to cool places in the world. I have also travelled to a lot of places in Germany, since I live here.

  • I recently learnt...

    I‘m recently learning how to use my double bass drum and I love it! I hope one day I‘ll be able to play difficult metal songs (:

    Also, I recently started to draw more again and am teaching myself how to sketch people because I want to create my own characters and write a book / story myself!

  • I wish people knew more about...

    I wish people would understand more how hard it is to be a quiet, introvert person. I‘m one myself and I often feel forced to be someone else just because I don‘t talk much. I see people who just don‘t understand that being introvert isn‘t a choice and it's actually hard because I personally hate myself for it. I often find myself crying because I wish I would talk more or things but I feel like no one really understands.

  • A personal challenge

    I think the hardest thing I‘ve ever challenged myself to do is keeping a healthy mindset and trying to stop my overthinking.
    I‘m kinda on a good way to improve it but sometimes I fall back into thinking and creating spirals of worst cases that could happen
