  • Something to tell the world!

My name is Ilya, I'm 15 years old and I live in a small town in the Lipetsk region.
I'm interested in natural sciences, especially I love chemistry and biology. The time that I spend, mostly on reading, surfing the Internet or chatting with friends. I would like to have friends in different countries, and I will be very glad to meet new friends.
I apologize in advance for my English, it is at a fairly low level

Are there people here who can speak Latin? If there is, please write to me)
PS However, I’m still ready to speak with anyone, no matter what languages you know

  • Favourite books/authors/films

    Two of my favorite books:
    - Holbach's Nature System
    - Selye From dream to discovery

  • My proudest accomplishments

Two consecutive years finalist of the regional biology Olympiad)))

  • It was better before

Latin. I think it would be really cool if this language regained international status

  • It is better now

Access to information in the modern world is a real miracle. Although this is not always beneficial, with the wise use of this opportunity you can master any skill and it’s great

  • Improving the school system

It seems that any action with the education system will lead to its improvement or not to worsen it. Because it is so outdated that there is nowhere worse. A huge amount of scientific papers and teaching theories seem to have been ignored by the school for the past 200 years

  • I feel concerned about...

The value of free science. Nowadays, apparently, science is perceived by many only as advanced technologies and major international projects. But this is not at all! Some discoveries were made by amateurs, they even became the founder some directions. If more people were engaged in science on their own, then humanity would have much more knowledge about the world, because many things have been investigated that governments will not allocate money for because of their "low priority"
