Hello!
I am currently a bachelor’s student.
I was born and raised in the provinces, and now I’m studying in Moscow.
Since childhood, I’ve been interested in natural sciences. I studied in a class with a focus on chemistry and biology and was a prizewinner in olympiads. Now I’m studying biology, specializing in the biodiversity of freshwater microorganisms, particularly ciliates.
So far, I’ve only traveled within the country. My trips are usually tied to extraordinary (by my standards) experiences. I went to Yaroslavl for one of Russia’s largest youth competitions, traveled to St. Petersburg for two days just to reconcile with my then-girlfriend, whom I hadn’t yet met offline, did a research biology internship in Sevastopol, spent a month on an expedition in the Pacific Ocean, and have explored almost all of Moscow on foot. I’ve also visited smaller towns—for vacation, passing through, or for some errands—but those trips were usually short, less exciting, and the places probably wouldn’t be too recognizable to someone outside Russia.
