  • Favourite books/authors/films

My favourite authors are definetly Dan Brown, Andy Weir and Robert Muchamore but I like Shakespeare too.
I´m a big fan of Marvel, Star Wars, the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. TV shows I like are SWAT, Criminal Minds, Bones, Grey's Anatomy, 9-1-1, 9-1-1 Lone Star, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Good Omens, Shooter, the german shows Einstein and Alarm für Cobra 11 and last but not least The Clone Wars. Also, I really like the Lancaster Tetralogy, it's what brought me to Shakespeare. Btw, my favorite work is Sonnet 130.

  • I recently learnt...

Not long ago I learned to make collage-like backgrounds for mobiles, computers, tablets, laptops, etc. I´ve become quite good and if you like to get one, send me a message including your device for which you want it, if you have it your instagram name so I can send it to you, your wished theme and maybe, if you want it on your background, the first letter of your name. Oh, and of course it´d be free, because I am bored and have nothing better to do 😉

  • Something to tell the world!

I like riding (a horse), reading and writing. I can play the guitar and I like to draw (although I´m not good). My favourite band is Sunrise Avenue and I like Rea Garvey, and James Blunt. I´m also very much interested in astrophysics and other sciences. I absolutely love photography (not that that isn't obvious😂) And not to forget, I´m chocolate addicted... BTW the best kind is 60% with caramel and sea salt 😉

  • I'm an expert at...

I wouldn't consider myself an "expert" but I'm pretty good at Latin, Chemistry and Physics. The one thing I can do really well is swimming, I am not only a member with the German DLRG (German Life Saving Society), I also actively train and take shifts every now and then ( I have the offical title of "International Lifesaver" since 2021).

  • 10 years from now

I hope, we manage to get the climate change under control and i hope we don´t end up having another world war. In 10 years I want to study at a university (preferably studying something sciency or maybe something with language?).

  • Making the world a better place

I think we could do so much more to at least slow down the climate change. Instead of driving our cars with gas, we could use hydrogen and solar electricity.
People should stop believing everything they hear and do research themselves before. Nonetheless we should be able to differentiate between true science and staright up bullshit. We also should start to listen to our fellow human beings on this planet and respect everyone, no matter the colour of their skin, their sexuality, their religion or their home country, etc. In the end we are all the same yet different in the little things...

  • Cities and countries I have visited

I once went on vacation to Pénestin, France and I was on a student exchange in the Netherlands twice.

  • Living abroad for one year

If I could live abroad for one year, I´d probably choose either the UK, Ireland, Finland or Japan, because I want learn more about these four countries. Additionally I would want to go to Iceland one day, because I like the nature there very much.

  • My opinion on human nature

I think humans were naturally good. But as they became more and more intelligent, the good side sunk into the depths of evil. Some are able to bring out the good again, but the majority of humans cannot.

  • My interests in other cultures

I love sports and languages, so I would like to learn about it in other cultures. The thing I'm curious about the most in other countries is their kind of music taste. I assume every country has one genre, where everybody can name at least, let's say ten, different artists from that genre and half of them don't even like the genre and/or the artists. In Germany it's "Schlager". So I would like to know about other countries and cultures.

  • My proudest accomplishments

I found a bit of about 500 grams of coal on a mountain.
I got my physics teacher to hang up one of my pictures of the moon in the school.
I recorded a CD with my brother for my mother's birthday.
I got myself a silver lifesaving certificate.
I finished 10th grade and am now on my way to do my a-levels.

  • I always enjoy talking about...

I love talking about science, music and nerd stuff. Like different "fandoms", my favourite movies, books, comics, series and all these things. But I also like to hear other people's stories, thoughts and worries. Sometimes a good listener is better than a great speaker. It can help people to understand certain points of view, different from their own. It can also support the processing of traumas, strengthening self-esteem, as well as just making somebody feel better because someone listens to them and doesn't interrupt them all the time. You see, talking to someone is as important as listening to other people. That's what people have to learn...

  • Something uncommon about me

I have many freckles, like really.
I have lost one half of my right upper front tooth in a bike crash, a great dentist fixed it, then my normal dentist wanted to make it it even better, but the part she attached to my tooth just fell off the next day. A year later she tried it again, failed again. My tooth doesn't seem to like my normal dentist... 😂
I can crack every single one of my joints, including my back and my ears. It doesn't hurt, but it scares people and creeps them out. That's useful if you don't like someone and want them to go away... 😂
My knee joints have too soft cartilage, causing my brother to call me "cartilage softie" ("Knorpel softie" in German) or "cartilage victim" ("Knorpel Opfer" ) as my knees practically betray me, thus resulting in me being a victim.

  • Improving the school system

I wish they would teach us about diversity. Not only sexual, but also political. They should teach us how to understand someone's views and to respect them, even if we don't like them. I looked it up myself because I wanted to know more about it, but that aren't all people.
How to learn correctly, so it actually stays in our minds and not just for a few days or weeks.
We should learn about how to repair the easiest things, like bikes, how to change light bulbs and how to install useful technical things for example a WiFi, a toner, a computer, a TV or a radio. We should know how to fix the lightest problems with them. It's our future and we use technology more than ever. So I think we should all know the basics of how these things work and how we can fix small problems ourselves.

  • Personal skills

I wouldn't name it "special" but I've been told quite often that I am apparently a rather good listener.
The greatest ability I'm aware of is probably my talent for formulations and the use of words.

  • A career without obstacles

I've always wanted to be an astronaut and since I found my love for music, rockstar is also on the list. I also would like to be an actress, but I'm rather shy😅
My most realistic plan is to become an astrophysicist and go into the science field, but if that by any chance doesn't work, I would like to join the police. Plan C is to do an apprenticeship for Bicycle mechatronics engineering... What I´ve just now realized is that I would actually very much like to become an author or a teacher, just not for like small kids, more like the age of idk 15 and above lol.

  • A personal challenge

In the fall vacation I challenged myself to learn how to play the guitar properly and I'm on it since then.
I am currently also learning Finnish, it is a very interesting language.
But the hardest (and probably the dumbest) thing I ever did, was to calculate the amount of energy (how much fuel) and time it takes to get off the earth and to alpha centaur. And while I was on it I tried to complete the Wikipedia article about said planet (gravity,...). And I'm proud to say, I accomplished my mission!

  • Life regrets

I really regret quitting the football team I was on. It was a nice sport and I had friends in the team. It was only guys except for me, so my coach always underestimated me and put me on the side for most of the games, which was my reason to quit in the end.
The other decision I made, that I now know was wrong, is choosing French as my 4th language. I already had Latin and English and of course German, and for the next year we had to choose between French, Computer science, history with politics and biology with chemistry. Now I know, that I should have chosen either the last one or computer science, because that would've been a lot easier for me to understand.

  • I'm excited about...

I am intrigued by everything in correlation to science, technology and languages

  • Childhood pleasures

As a child I was really into dinosaurs and archaeology. I could name most dinosaurs from the top of my head and when we played things like tag in school, I'd pretend to be a T-Rex which was fun and I got the title "best dinosaur ever" from my friends.
