    I just LOVE books 🙂) I read a lot of Romanian contemporary literature, but I also love fantasy (like, for example, ACOTAR and Twilight) very much. As a side note, I used to be afraid that people would think I read “childish” books and make fun of me, so I’ve avoided fantasy for a few years during high school - biggest mistake of my life, honestly. People can think whatever, I’ll still love Twilight 🧛🏻
    I also love authors like George Orwell, Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, Markus Zusak, Patrick Modiano.
    As for movies, they can make me pretty anxious sometimes, so I am the kind of person to watch the same movie 35354534 times. My favourites would be “Call me by your name”, “Atonement”, “Titanic”, “Bohemian Rhapsody” and, well, a lot of others. I watch all kinds of movies, I just gotta have a good day before deciding to watch one I’ve never seen before. God this answer turned out to be sooo long =)

  • Etwas ungewöhnliches über mich

    I don’t think it’s necessarily uncommon, but something I really like to do is writing - mostly fiction. It is really hard for me tho, because I’m a great deal too harsh and critical of my own work, but lately I’ve been trying to just put my words down onto paper without overthinking it that much. I try to write short stories - I also have quite a few bigger projects, but, for the moment, I don’t consider myself skilled enough to write something too long. I also used to like composing poems, but I found that it only really works when I’m heartbroken, so I do not write them frequently 🙂

    I think I’d like to go either to Oxford or somewhere in Italy. These are my favourite places I’ve ever visited. I actually spent 2 weeks in Oxford in my first year of high school and that’s the longest I’ve ever been away from home, so I guess the city will always be special for me.

    I’ve visited quite a lot of places in Europe - Budapest, Wien, Bratislava, Krakow, Rome, Venice, Paris, London and Oxford, plus a lot of different cities in my home country, Romania. I’ve never been outside Europe tho, and I’d really love to visit some places in Africa (especially the northern part) and South America one day.

    I like learning about all cultures honestly, I find it extremely fascinating. Lately I’ve been working on a thesis about King Arthur, one thing (or should i say link? 🙂 ) lead to another and I got really into Welsh culture, so now I’m trying to learn the language

  • Über- oder unterschätzt

    I don’t like labeling things as “overrated” - people like what they like and there’s no point in trying to only like things that are less known (emphasis on trying - if you like them just because you like them, that’s great)
    I do like some singers that I wish more people would know of: Foxes, Cloves, Dean Lewis...

  • Ich rede immer gerne über...

    ... honestly anything haha. But I guess there are a few things I could talk about for hours, like movies or music or some random trivia =))

  • Eine Karriere ohne Hindernisse

    “A career without obstacles” - it would be boring, right? Of course I’m not talking about obstacles of the “my boss hates me and is purposely trying to ruin my life” type. But I think something you don’t have to work for will never make you feel accomplished (at least that’s my case, I know not everyone has to be of the same opinion)
    If I could pick any career, I think I’d still pick the one I’ve already chosen 👩🏻‍⚕️ Though, being a secret agent also sounds pretty cool... 🙂)

    Optics. As in, the branch of physics. I used to know nothing about it even though I’ve been trying to understand it for the past, like, 4 years. Luckily I finally got the hang of it, because I’ll need it to get into med school
