But I'm thinking of this in terms of emotions affecting physical health, just like exercise helps release dopamine.
However, I think your view of “sensations” are more macro, or has some deeper meaning, or it involves human nature, history and society. From this perspective, I agree with you. Being kind doesn't mean it's good, and being angry or afraid doesn't mean it's bad . There is some kindness that leads to the evils of this world, there is some anger that inspires justice in one's heart, and there is some fear that keeps one in awe at all times.
