what is the best opening line to start a conversation on this site

As a mature 61 year man from Netherlands i still am not sure how to start a conversation. Not in real live not here.
What line do you suggest to start a conversation so the other person do react.

I usually try: "Hey, how is your day going?" Or "Hey, how was your day?" Or "Hey, what are you doing?"
