Well, for me, there’s nothing more absurd and annoying than people who see me—see that I’m a lesbian—and react like: "Oh, wow, that’s the work of the devil. No, no, you’re supposed to like men. That’s not of God. That’s a sickness; it can’t be like that—you have to have children."
Look, I’m getting a bit tired of people who act this way. As for my sexual orientation—it is *my* sexual orientation. You can’t change it, because it’s part of nature and life. I have a real issue with that attitude and with people who hold it, because they refuse to accept or understand the simple fact that this isn't about religion; it’s my life, my sexual orientation, my preferences, and my choices—and you have no right to question or try to stop that.
"Oh, so if you're a lesbian, you don't believe in God"—yeah, right. Whatever. This isn't even about religion; it's about human nature—choosing who I am. No one has the right to try and change that. Of course I believe in God; being a lesbian doesn't mean I don't. So please, I’m asking people to stop sending me those kinds of comments in private messages; it’s starting to make me feel really uncomfortable and annoyed.
It’s my decision, the way I am, human nature—and that’s that. I find it disrespectful for people to bring up God and religion in this context and try to change me. I find it truly shameful.
I hope this has been made crystal clear and that it doesn't happen again, because I won't stand for people like me—who are part of this community—feeling uncomfortable due to these comments, or even offended because they’re being insulted, just as I have been. It really makes me angry, because it’s 2026. 2026, guys. And there’s greater diversity, and all that.
Thank you all for reading this.
