I just wanted to say, that yesterday a user named Samy0128 texted me, he said "hey". After my "hii", he said, that I was attractive and deserved to be loved purely. He asked me to be his girlfriend. I said no. Then I blocked him.

Be careful, okay? There are weird people here, and we want our community to be safe place for everyone.❤️ Especially, when we also have younger users. Those weirdos can actually be very harmful. Soooo we need to listen to our guts, and if there is even a tiny voice saying that this feels weird, it probably is. Fortunately, there are also smart people on this gate, and we can have fun with true friends🌸

Hello, @Daisy16 even we older ladies have to deal with indecent proposals here on this penpal. If there is anything, you can block these people immediately. You can also use settings or report it to @Etienne Stay safe.

Not only here but a year ago the same happend to me w a random pers on snapchat and started stalking me and found my adress. Luckly i went to the police and its all over now..be safe!

Found your address??????? That is creeeppyy!!! I would also if you dont feel comfortable remove hometown on your profile here if you are afraid it can happen here too. It is maybe not necessary but i felt more comfortable that way so i removed it.

Why not to warn others Etienne? What if some new users haven't familiarize themselves with hiw this platform work? Especially old and lonely people who aren't technologically literate and are potential victims of romance scams and also people from poor countries who are potential victims of job advert scams

When i joined on PPG i was doubting also between here and interpals and penpalworld. But i just liked PPG already and so i just stayed here. 🙂

Interpals is pretty dangerous yeah, but it has much more users from different countries.

Only they work like leboncoin: they always suspend my account for no reason.

Do you know they find it: Videos on Insta, AI like ChatGPT and Google Street View, because they can compare the house with this in a video.

So always be careful with TikTok, Insta and Snapchat.

As soon you are suspicious: People have a super Job, model like pictures or say they are from City XY and dont even know the neighbourcity Just say them in a sudden: No you wont get my contact on WhatsApp or Telegram - so Im sorry no money for you to sell my cellphone number.

You see the conversation is interrupted immediately, you are blocked or Just ignored.

And most of them are a part of a Network, so they (Scammers) set you on a Blacklist and you arent contacted anymore by this team.

There's nothing wrong with creating topics to remind others of general safety rules online. I meant to say that it tends to be counterproductive to make topics warning about specific users. This is because:

- Accounts are automatically banned every single day so the forum could easily become flooded with such messages
- it implies that PPG is an unsafe platform offering no protection, and members must rely on the forum to warn each other about potential predators

Thanks, I know all of that, sometimes I waste their time and I report them to InterPals moderators. I never give my whatsapp, telegram, instagram nor I have any personal photos anywhere on internet. On InterPals I waste their time and I report them to the platform once I gather evidence.If I manage to get their phone number I report them to whatsapp, telegram, econsumer.gov and truecaller. It takes cca 5-10 minutes of my time but if my actions help protecting at least one person from being scammed, I would be happy.

Interpals scammers have no blacklists, they always contact people, even when I post about them they still try to contact me 🤣. But at least they are easy to detect. But much bigger problems are paedophiles
