These days I wanted to write in the forum, but this message often appeared: "You have reached your daily quota, try again in a few hours. We have set quotas to prevent abuse". Why?

These days I wanted to write in the forum, but this message often appeared: "You have reached your daily quota, try again in a few hours. We have set quotas to prevent abuse". Why?

Yes, the forum is a particularly exposed place where:
- everyone can see everything
- whenever someone adds a new post, everyone else is notified

This makes it very vulnerable to spamming (intentionally or even unintentionally). The forum was initially designed for longer exchanges, not the fast paced discussions it often turns into. It should probably be adjusted to better correspond to this new behavior, but I haven't figured out how yet so I've just kept increasing the numbers so far. I will do it again sometime in the next couple of days or so

Fleurke sent me a message that her quota is full again but she can write again tomorrow with the new quota. But she can of course read everything! And I think emojis are also possible! 😛 I hope everybody can get a lot of quota because the reactions are nice if people do that a lot because that makes the forum nice i think. 🙂
