Who cares about the dashboard map?

If you're on desktop, you're familiar with the dashboard world map featuring where the people you've ever talked to are from:

How useful/cool is it to you? Should it stay or be replaced with something more useful?

Feel free to comment or just vote with emojis if it's easier for you.

I didn't know the map before I logged in ppg for one month and I barely use it so I vote for replacement

I agree with @raccoon1577 and i also dont really use it. Maybe it is a nice idea that you can have for example a box with how you feel that day! We even have a forum about it and many people write in it: https://penpal-gate.net/forum/12-everyday-life-and-customs/9786-today So perhaps that is a nice idea!

It deoends what the "new feature" would be

I like the world map, Etienne.

I don't really use it but perhaps you could make the part of who's online bigger and show more than just 6 people or like what @Yue_ said a survey to ask how you are feeling.

I personally like it because it allows you to get an overview of all the penpals you got, and it’s pretty useful to remember who is from where. 🙂

But there is one thing that bothers me a little, the people who don’t answer back.

Sometimes I’d sent messages to people, but some of them never responded (usually because they're inactive), and the fact that they appear on my map distorts the overview a bit, because I didn't actually have a conversation with them, it's just because I sent a message that wasn't seen or answered.

Here are a few examples :

And yet those people are labeled on the map.

There’s also people with whom I had a very short conversation before they disappear, and with whom I didn't talk for years, so long that I doubt if i can still say they're my penpals. But technically we did chat so I don't really know...

How about marking the penpals only when the two people sent each other at least one message ?
