I think both are good. But I think I love animation more. The reason for this- suppose there is a character in animation it will always feel original . You will feel like their is some world where your favorite character exist. In movies or live action when I see a character, it doesn't feel like the character is real, it just feels the actor is doing good in this role. This is because that same actor has already portrayed as different character in different movies . So this is my take, it's completely natural that you might not like it.
